In Pikmin 2 is still a time limit each day... and I like it more because it has 201 treasures, 2 playable characters, better controls, more levels, etc...

I think this game is better than the 2nd. The time element was what really made the series interesting and challenging.

Hated the time limit.. made it unenjoyable to *me*. Any game that has me timed and under pressure isn't any fun.

I loved the first one more so than the second due to the very nature of the 30 day clock. Some people use it as a mark against it but the 30 day clock made every day count especially if you were new to the game. Figuring out the best way to accomplish a task efficiently and quickly was made all the more important.
