@ Cyrip - You comparing potentially
different audiences.

Fans of of
Street Fighter and Tekken have already
seen plenty of those IPs. Also, it
wasn't great and it the DLC crap turned
people off. Injustice was something a
little more fresh and appealed to DC
Universe fans.

smaller licenses than DC for fighting
game fans? DOA5 no, but Street Fighter
and Tekken combined.

@ Cyrip - This seems more like a
reflection of how popular the DC
Universe is.

If Tecmo made a game
similar to Dead or Alive with Marvel
characters, it would surely perform much
better than DOA5 simply because of the
license.

in 2 weeks flat. Who said fighting games
