Game Overview

Halo 3 is a first-person shooter game developed by Bungie for the Xbox 360. It was announced at E3 2006 with a real-time cinematic trailer. It was released on September 25, 2007 in North America, September 26, 2007 in Europe and September 27, 2007 in Japan.

First-day sales of Halo 3 reached $170 million in the U.S, setting a record for highest gross of an entertainment product within 24 hours of its release. The performance beat the previous record setter - Halo 2 - which earned $125 million within 24 hours after its launch.

This is exciting? It seems it might pass
12 million. This year it will probably
sell 220-250k and after Next generation
consoles, its sale will suffer, but to
die wholely, not likely. 12 million
sometimes in 2014?

while i do think halo 3 is undertracked
based on old npd numbers, that 14.5mil
figure is for halo 2 and halo 1 sales
prior to halo 3's release.
