Game Overview

Halo 3 is a first-person shooter game developed by Bungie for the Xbox 360. It was announced at E3 2006 with a real-time cinematic trailer. It was released on September 25, 2007 in North America, September 26, 2007 in Europe and September 27, 2007 in Japan.

First-day sales of Halo 3 reached $170 million in the U.S, setting a record for highest gross of an entertainment product within 24 hours of its release. The performance beat the previous record setter - Halo 2 - which earned $125 million within 24 hours after its launch.

According to other articles back in 2008
and the timeline of sales here...Halo 3
is under-tracked by at least two
million.

@MonstaMack If we did things that way
then half of the PS3 catalog is
undertracked since PS+ has had hundreds
of games given away. Not only that when
the Ps3 outage Infamous LBP Wipeout and
some other games were given out for
free. No point even mentioning them.

FYI - This game is free to gold members
for October 15th-October 31st. So throw
in another 1-x million more sales for
people who will download it. While that
will not help It's profit/sales overall
standing a sale is still a sale.
