Game Overview

Dark Souls is an open world action role-playing game, developed by From Software for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows. A spiritual successor to Demon's Souls, the game revolves around a dark-fantasy theme and sense of loss and caution. Like it's predecessor, Dark Souls is considered a challenging, yet rewarding, experience with players harshly punished for their mistakes.

The game takes place in the kingdom of Lordran, where the undead, known as Hollow, live on and are slowly driven mad. The player controls a Hollowed prisoner, escaping and making a pilgrimage of unknown reasons.

Yeah... 'bad', certainly is relative.

Lol, anyone who thinks 500,000+ copies
sold is bad has got to be naive.
Especially for a multiplat game. If only
all games could do as bad as Dark Souls.

Damn is bombed on the Xbox D:

half million sales, not too bad at all
gave the game more sales than the
original when you add both consoles, as
for this being perfect because it is
really hard? Can't disagree enough on
that, the game is okie but in some cases
the AI is appalingly bad and the rag
doll phsics used for the dead things
just messes up all the time, this is a
good game and a damn hard one, but there
is a line between tough and hard for the
sake of hard and this game pass's over
than line at times for no good reason.
Tis kinda like their R-type games, at
times you're just going to have to die
the first time you encounter something,
there is no way of predicting a certain
way a thing will come at you for the
first time you are just going to have to
die to find out and that isn't for
everyone.

I've just played so many better RPGs
that this one seems quite average to me.
