Fantastic game.
Best Call of Duty.
And i'm happy for the fact other 1,500,000 Nintendri have played this game.
Fededx (on 07 July 2012)
Well, Activision can't complain, it sold very good. Might have made a big profit for sure, specially considering it's a port of and older game.
theRepublic (on 27 September 2011)
Single player is good, but marred by terrible hit detection. Multiplayer is addicting, but the match making seems like it has issues.
spurgeonryan (on 04 July 2011)
14.99 used would get it a place above COD3 for wii, and make me happy.
primogen18 (on 24 June 2011)
finally went down to $19.99 used at gamestop, $17.99 with card
primogen18 (on 11 June 2011)
Wish this would be 14.99-19.99 already, still $34.99 most places new around here and $29.99 used
spurgeonryan (on 22 May 2011)
Yeah these sales should be good. Its about time that alot of these games get gold and platinum status and go for 14.99 -19.99. What does a disc cost. box, paphlet, and everything else involved? Just put a basic controll paper instead of a paphlet so the price is reduced, let everything else be available online and sell the games at the those prices once they are down in the hundeds or thousands in sales.
Kwaidd (on 19 February 2011)
incredible thqat the sales are still climbing. I too have seen the game everywhere along side its younger counterpart. they were selling for the same price in several stores i went into
primogen18 (on 12 February 2011)
we did have someone come in and grab both this and black ops together not that long ago, it was crazy.
primogen18 (on 12 February 2011)
it's still 49.99 alot of places around here, 10k a week is great for this game full price for how old it is.
spurgeonryan (on 17 January 2011)
only ten thousand???
spurgeonryan (on 28 December 2010)
I would say they should be changing theses sales alot when they finally change them!
spurgeonryan (on 09 December 2010)
well it sstill for sale everywhere so im sure the sales have gone up
ZechsMerquise (on 14 November 2010)
This sold really well - especially for a two year old game. I hope Black Ops does a million as well!
Fededx (on 05 November 2010)
This sold good, like COD 5 did on Wii. I'm glad it sold, that's why we're getting Black Ops on Wii, and I think there are a lot of gamers who actually prefer the Wii version because of the control, like me. I don't play FPS on HD consoles, I don't like dual sticks for FPS. And the Wii version of COD are pretty good, push the system graphically, not as good looking as the HD versions of course, but pretty good nevertheless!
primogen18 (on 29 October 2010)
It's not Nintendo that needs to do alot of the changing, it's 3rd parties. This sold beyond 1M because that many people wanted this game on Wii, not because "parents grabbed this over the other versions"
primogen18 (on 29 October 2010)
It's not Nintendo that needs to do alot of the changing, it's 3rd parties. This sold beyond 1M because that many people wanted this game on Wii, not because "parents grabbed this over the other versions"
spurgeonryan (on 29 October 2010)
Well it can happen! But I think alot of parents were told about this game from their kids, and instead of getting the other versions they got this. I bet that is what pushed it past 1 mill. although I hope not, because I like to hope nintendo will some day change with third parties. three consols later though.....
primogen18 (on 26 October 2010)
Agreed ash, look at how BO for Wii made it to the pre-order charts. The first COD game on Wii to do so, it's even beating the PC version.
Siko1989 (on 26 May 2010)
fantastic game, i will come back to this game soon im busy playing the original mario galaxy lol
ash3336 (on 22 May 2010)
Nintendo would have had such a better hardcore market, if this game was released in 2007 with all the features it had. This would have sold to about 3 million people. That is a rough estimate, but being released at the right time changes everything. The standard would have been so high for Wii FPSs. There would have been a substantially bigger mature market on the wii.
curl-6 (on 21 May 2010)
@OmegaRugalv3: Putting words in my mouth, much?
Did I ever say it sold as well as on other platforms?

Point is, it STILL SOLD. Despite being a 2-year-late stealth release.

Also, it's not Nintendo's fault third parties can't live up to their standards.

Btw, Monster Hunter Tri says hi, at 1.4 Million despite being a niche title outside Japan.
Triadfish (on 20 May 2010)
"Seriously though, I thought WaWii was a better port; the framerate and graphics weren't as polished in MWR. (IMHO)"

You are right. WaW had better Visuals and it had more constant FPS, but MWR hat a much better Online Mode with 2 more Players, 8 more Maps, much more Game Modes and without tons of Map Exploits.
OmegaRugalv3 (on 19 May 2010)
"What was that about mature, hardcore games not selling on Wii? ;)"

Yes this sold but this same game and series sells 10x more on the other systems.

NMH2, Red Steal 2 and TvC are all quality third party games on the Wii and no of them did well. They MIGHT sell in time if legs hold ... but none of them are big hits on the Wii.

On Nintendo's system ... what sells is Nintendo games and casual games. Whatever big name core franchise that does sell on the Wii would sell far more on the other consoles.
uno (on 18 May 2010)
Black Ops here Wii come!!!
curl-6 (on 18 May 2010)
What was that about mature, hardcore games not selling on Wii? ;)

Seriously though, I thought WaWii was a better port; the framerate and graphics weren't as polished in MWR. (IMHO)
Twista (on 16 May 2010)
better than WaW IMO
ljlrj (on 11 May 2010)
omg 1million
KillerJawz (on 06 May 2010)
I'm pleasantly surprised by the 1m mark set by this game. Here was me thinking it wouldn't go over 600k :/
Ninpanda (on 06 May 2010)
102 suckas!!!
uno (on 04 May 2010)
101 suckas!!!
Voltaire (on 30 April 2010)
The legs on this franchise amaze me.
chris_wing (on 27 April 2010)
Do my eye's deceive me, another third party million seller on Wii, and it's M rated, and not in HD.
Hey Pachter, you might want to polish up that old resume, your looking more the fool everyday.
Fededx (on 27 April 2010)
Well now it's a million seller :P
I like Bacon (on 23 April 2010)
It is not at 1,000,000. It is at 999,113. :-p
GuyDuke (on 23 April 2010)
1 million!
spurgeonryan (on 22 April 2010)
IS this real or are we gonna get a readjustment in sales next week?
Siko1989 (on 22 April 2010)
hell yeah.. 1 million , next target is 2 million
marcianito (on 21 April 2010)
a million yay!!!
-PaNdOrA- (on 21 April 2010)
SaviorX (on 21 April 2010)
Ah, one million
morenoingrato (on 19 April 2010)
just.... so few for a million....
spurgeonryan (on 19 April 2010)
I say around 1.5 million lifetime.
Mr Puggsly (on 17 April 2010)
@ primogen18
Well its obvious that M rated games haven't had much success on the Wii. Sega is developing less M rated games for a reason.

But it might have something to do with the Wii having a poor and small selection of M rated games to choose from.
primogen18 (on 16 April 2010)
@siko I think Arius is referring to the fact that this selling 1M and beyond will not exist to those who argue M rated games do not sell on Wii. RE games and other COD titles seem to not exist in those arguments either.
Siko1989 (on 16 April 2010)
Arius Dion

???? this game looks like it sold on wii to me
Arius Dion (on 15 April 2010)
Wonder what the excuse will be this time, in regards to "M" games not selling on Wii...
Armads (on 15 April 2010)
This is one of those games I intend to eventually buy. I think it will have long legs because a lot of people think that way too. I'm just going through all the other titles I haven't played yet until I get this and the cost being also a main factor. If it gets a price cut I can see it selling well for a very long time even if it just went down to 40 bucks new.
jeffrey9999 (on 14 April 2010)
I wonder how far it will get after a million...............
Nintendogamer (on 14 April 2010)
990K, next week, 1M is very likely.
spurgeonryan (on 10 April 2010)
OH my goodness this is soo slow to 1 mill.
sorento (on 10 April 2010)
futur million seller welcome
uno (on 08 April 2010)
almost there.....
Laboxer1 (on 04 April 2010)
This game is still beast with its online for wii user's. I play this almost all day when i get the chance with some friends to own. =) awsome game
huaxiong90 (on 01 April 2010)
1 million very soon.
primogen18 (on 30 March 2010)
1000k?! 0_o
Nintendogamer (on 30 March 2010)
970K! getting close and closer to 1000K!
Ninpanda (on 30 March 2010)
This game is showing more legs than I had anticipated... Nice!
I even believe it'll outsell the Wii version of W@W.
zaMy (on 29 March 2010)
I honestly didnt think it would reach 1 million. I was wrong. I'm predictign about 1.5 million MAX, and CoD7 to get possibly 2 million if it includes zombies and online like this game has.
uno (on 29 March 2010)
I have put over 200 hours into this game so far. Its all I ever think about.

Me = nerd
qwettydude (on 25 March 2010)
why lower the price now? i think summer is a good moment
Nintendogamer (on 24 March 2010)
960K! soon to join the million sellers club.
SaviorX (on 24 March 2010)
Well after reaching 700k in America, it is due time for a price drop.
Sales drops are catching up to this game week after week so its time to lower the price of entry.
DrYon (on 22 March 2010)
I wonder how much this would sell if was released at the same time as 360/PS3 versions.
younghavok (on 21 March 2010)
This game is selling really good. Most fps titles on the Wii tend to do 6 digits with a few hitting that 7 digit mark. W@W, Red Steel, and soon this. Not bad for a game with no advertising at all.
Nintendogamer (on 20 March 2010)
You might be forgetting about great 3rd party titles coming in April :D
spurgeonryan (on 19 March 2010)
ok, but what is going on with Nintendo? Other companies are pushing out game after game after game each month that are good to very good. It seems since x-mas we have recieved about one game a month for the Wii that ranges anywhere from regular to crappy. three games this year that are good is not gonna cut it. THey are not thinking about there future. Everyone will be fully casual by next gen and nintendo is just sitting there putting out bigger DS's. Maybe that is where they should stay, it has been nothing but heart ache since the 64 and even that as we remember struggled with games so we got fillers (hexen, mace, lode runner, etc.) arrghhh
kanjitech18 (on 18 March 2010)
This game is not taking its time to reach a million. 950k? Going a nice pace there. Looks like it wasn't a bad idea to release this after all.
primogen18 (on 18 March 2010)
@omega you can get a chart on here that shows the sales in line graphs comparing them, so yeah this is just a hair under W@W, but only just recently. Click on "sales history" and go from there to compare up to 3 games.
OmegaRugalv3 (on 18 March 2010)
Are you sure? ... I thought it took WoW till mid summer to pass 1 million. This one is going to pass 1 million before the summer.
bazmeistergen (on 17 March 2010)
Tracking a slither below W@W.
Nintendogamer (on 17 March 2010)
950K! it goes on a bit.
uno (on 12 March 2010)
doing great.
Nintendogamer (on 10 March 2010)
940K, wither others to go, there iwll be less than 60,000 to go:)
freddy1403 (on 08 March 2010)
I'm predict 1,5 million
Nintendogamer (on 04 March 2010)
930K, 70K to go.
OmegaRugalv3 (on 04 March 2010)
Still wanting to try this game out. Been too busy with MW2 on PS3 but would definitely like to try this out with the Wii controls.

Easily will outsell the other CoD games on the Wii. 2 million is not unreasonable.
Siko1989 (on 03 March 2010)
i predict it gets 20k each week
Siko1989 (on 03 March 2010)
80k left
primogen18 (on 03 March 2010)
nice legs on this game! no doubt itll make it to 1 million, I can't wait to see how far it goes after that!
Nintendogamer (on 03 March 2010)
920K< approx 80K to go!, it could be the 78th million seller on wii.
freddy1403 (on 03 March 2010)
Good sales, one million in 4 weeks
hankakacjd (on 02 March 2010)
this is proof that people do buy mature games on wii. I don't think sega even thought madworld would be successful, due to the monchronmatic style of the game. personally I could see games Like splinter cell performing more prominent than a lot of games that's out of the ordinary man's comfort zone. resi darkside chronicles, in my opinion was a huge success; because he was a light gun game. if he had been a proper remake. would have purchased it first day, but instead I refuse to buy a games that doesn't suit my comfort zone.
intro94 (on 28 February 2010)
my suggestion to fix easily 2 wii shortcomings:
-killcam:At least ,when you get killed-instantly go into the screen of the killer. Then you might have a better clue while not as exact as replay.
-memory issues for voicechat?let people chat during midtimes, lobbies and so forth. use a low buffer coding for voice to use minimal memory.
hazmatkr3w (on 27 February 2010)
good sales, MW2 might come to the wii after all
kevinrize (on 26 February 2010)
why r these sales so random
uno (on 26 February 2010)
@ jeffrey

I dont care for wiispeak. Sure it would be nice if they include it in the next game but gameplay features are more important than hearing some 12 year old rant.
jeffrey9999 (on 25 February 2010)
week 6&7 were strong............ I hope the next one uses wiispeak or I probably will not get it cause this time their will be other games out to chose from like (the grinder, monster hunter3, metroid, hopefully pikmin) and so on and these games I have In mind Id rather have if the next cod doesn't use wiispeak...........
Nintendogamer (on 25 February 2010)
900K whoop!
ash3336 (on 24 February 2010)
I would buy that with my eyes closed...
torchmoney1 (on 24 February 2010)
i would like to see MW2 bundle with the new call of duty game that coming out this year so u get 2 game for 50 bucks only on the wii that will sell a million in its first week
jeffrey9999 (on 24 February 2010)
mw2 wii would have killed "mag" week 1...........
jeffrey9999 (on 24 February 2010)
can this 3year old 10player game with no voice chat beat "MAG" for ps3?
NoirSon (on 22 February 2010)
The thing with IW and a lot of other developers, not developing games on the Wii has to deal with them not wanting to work with different platforms or diverge resources to another platform. So despite the success that is there to be had on the platform, most publishers and developers are content to do as little as possible and call it a day when it comes to the Wii.
primogen18 (on 21 February 2010)
3 times in a row... 3 went on to sell a million as well despite no advertising and lack of online. 3 COD games on Wii, all 3 million plus sellers (come on, anyone thinking this wont sell past a million is insane), IW just believe they are "catering to the elite", when in reality they are missing out on big profits.
bazmeistergen (on 21 February 2010)
Vertigo, it has been adjusted twice. Both times upwards.
Vertigo-X (on 21 February 2010)
As much as I want to see this sell a million, I sense that adjustments will be inbound sooner or later. :(
Siko1989 (on 21 February 2010)

the funniest part is treyarch proved them wrong 2 ports in a row .. i remember when inifinity ward said the first modernwarfare isnt possible on the wii yet treyarch proved them wrong, and yes MW2 is possible on the wii it just hasn't happened yet
Metallicube (on 21 February 2010)
Well at this point I would think Infinity Ward would be downright psychotic to not want to port MW2 on the Wii, considering this game with a lower budget and virtually no advertising is easily going to hit one million sold.
Salnax (on 21 February 2010)
A dumbed down port of a two year old game is going to break a million, yet developers say that Wii owners only buy Nintendo and casual games? What a load of garbage.
novasonic (on 20 February 2010)
I'm not at all interested in war games, but it makes me happy to see this game selling so well. Hopefully it'll be a sign to 3rd party developers, to stop blaming the Wii for their lazy ass efforts.
SaviorX (on 20 February 2010)
The back side of this game's boxart is the worst thing I have seen in a long time.

If you want to get people to NOT buy your game, that backside is how you do it.
Siko1989 (on 19 February 2010)
sorry i mean 900k lol
Siko1989 (on 19 February 2010)
daaaaaaaaaamn 30k in america alone.. what can Others do? i hope it gets 20k so it cant get to 90k lol
roccerfeller (on 19 February 2010)
you know, for a game that got NO advertising, its done pretty good.
mdr279 (on 19 February 2010)
Hey im just wondering if anyone else has noticed that when you click on wii, then on the letter 'c' to search for games, there is a COD 7 page. ????
primogen18 (on 16 February 2010)
Agreed falk sturmfels
I hate how sales like these are 100% ignored, but how many times are we going to hear about how dead space extraction, a light-gun version of an unknown series that wasn't advertised, didn't sell millions?
torchmoney1 (on 15 February 2010)
Siko1989 (on 15 February 2010)
man this game is selling like crazy lol
DxLink (on 15 February 2010)
Hope TvsC have better legs than this
Voltaire (on 14 February 2010)
Incredible legs...
Falk Sturmfels (on 14 February 2010)
Great to see this one climbing all the way up to the million. I wish there would be some announcement after reaching this milestone. Im getting tired of all these "wii games sell shitty"-news.
primogen18 (on 12 February 2010)
good legs, this will make it to a million soon.
Triadfish (on 08 February 2010)
This is the best Online Shooter on the Wii and besides Mario Kart the best Online Game on the Wii overall.

Graphics and the Single Player were a bit better in CoD WaW... It felt a bit closer to the HD Versions than Reflex, but its Single Player is still good.

Multiplayer is much better than in WaW: All game Modes, 10 instead of 8 Players, 16 instead of 8 Maps, much better controls and no shadow bugs and Map exploits.

To me, the online mode is more fun than the online mode of MW2 on the PS3. The great controls make it the better experience.
jbee02 (on 07 February 2010)
I expected this game to sell well but not this quickly. It took the last wii CoD game almost took an entire year to get these kind of sales.
uno (on 06 February 2010)
inferior in graphics but superior in controls.

roccerfeller (on 05 February 2010)
Wow, this game is selling well for a game that got zero advertising.

Oh, and is an "inferior" 2 year old port.
trickyvix09 (on 05 February 2010)
this game is great t play online
Siko1989 (on 05 February 2010)
this is not a 1 million life time.. this is a 2 million lifetime for sure lol
mmpop (on 04 February 2010)
We are going to get a lot of Call of duty games to Wii, that for sure.
*Sound Of Rain (on 04 February 2010)
Stop with the ports just give the game to the Wii at the same time the H.D consoles it. M.W.2 will come to the Wii sometime in 2010.
torchmoney1 (on 04 February 2010)
almost a million copies sold .these r good number 4 a game that came out years ago
primogen18 (on 04 February 2010)
this game is starting to show steady legs over time, will reach 1 million + for sure.
intro94 (on 03 February 2010)
welll i guess thats also true.Im just liking the MW2 perks and i hope the get translated into COD7 for the Wii, where it plays so damm well.Is good to know the game is guaranteed tho.
ash3336 (on 31 January 2010)
The reason why I do not want Modern Warfare 2 on the Wii because it would be a port. An HD port can never be as good as a ground up game for the Wii. This game despite being extremely fun, is not technically impressive. If the SAME game was made ground up for the Wii, It would look better and have a better frame rate. This game is awesome but not as awesome as we deserve. The Treyarch COD game they will release this year will be ground up for the Wii, that will look better, have more modes, options and stabler framerate. HECK, if enough effort is put in to it, it could PROBABLY run at 60 fps. Who knows? Maybe they might pull it off. I just want this new COD game to have everything the other consoles have and make this the definitive version. Wii deserve it.
uno (on 31 January 2010)
800,000 in over 2 months is pretty good I would say.
DOLBYdigital (on 29 January 2010)
MW2 sucks so forget about it on Wii.
Treyarch would have to port it which they are working on a NEW COD 7 which will come to the Wii and be better than MW2 anyway. To be honest, COD has been going downhill since 4.

I was hoping for a million by now but it'll get there :)
primogen18 (on 27 January 2010)
come on others.... whats the hold up?
dark_gh0st_b0y (on 27 January 2010)
i want MW2 on Wii

MW Wii is so much better than World at War Wii....
ash3336 (on 27 January 2010)
I do not want Modern Warfare 2 on the Wii. I want COD7 which will be a better game (cuz it comes out after). I just hope they increase the player count, add voice chat and all the perks this time. Make the Wii get a couple excllusive modes.
intro94 (on 27 January 2010)
we need to get MW2 THIS year some months before COD6 or something. Is pushy but they have to.treyarch loves the wii so COD6 is a given but MW2 is a seller so Activision would have to push Trey for the port.
ash3336 (on 26 January 2010)
I want this game to outsell WaW because it clearly is the better game on the Wii. But these numbers are more than enough to ensure profit and better products on the Wii in the future especially Call of Duty products.
primogen18 (on 26 January 2010)
Im wondering if MW2 will ever make it to Wii now that the next one is being made by Treyarch. Man did they screw up the COD series on Wii, IW should have just kept it up with the other consoles. They should realize that now... but they don't....
Excel_K (on 22 January 2010)
Yay, it's doing great!
Kwaidd (on 22 January 2010)
great game and def worth our support with our dollars. could there be a cpl improvements, and would it have been nice to have sooner? sure...but it was so worth the wait. Thanks Treyarch!
uno (on 22 January 2010)
Activision has thus far released a COD game every year on Wii. Why would this year be any different.

And seeing as how Treyarch is doing the next one, I am pretty sure it will be on the Wii the same time as the other consoles.
stof (on 21 January 2010)
Yeah, if this had been released 2 years ago, both it and the subsequent World at War would have sold a lot better.

And yet, I highly doubt the next COD will make a simultaneous Wii release.
primogen18 (on 21 January 2010)
agreed cliffhanger. Although its doing pretty well, im sure it would have done FAR better had they not sold the Wii short in the first place.
cliffhanger (on 21 January 2010)
I think these sales show that not releasing it at the same time as the HD systems was a mistake.
GianCarmen (on 21 January 2010)
Great sales so far. Its a well deserved port.
bmmb1 (on 21 January 2010)
Yes it's just a port but it's a good port - graphics quite good, almost all of the game preserved, and well done Wii controls.
Aidman (on 21 January 2010)
take some note you third parties it's just a port though.
MaxwellGT2000 (on 21 January 2010)
Nice! Glad to see the game selling very well, hopefully this won't be ignored, if you put quality out there people will buy the game simple as that.
bazmeistergen (on 21 January 2010)
I knew it! It had to adjusted up. Just comparing online sign up.
uno (on 20 January 2010)
@ Zucas

Agreed. Activision could have made a lot more money.
DavidValbu (on 20 January 2010)
adjusted up??
Zucas (on 20 January 2010)
I mean I'm just surprised how well this game has sold as I had thought a lot of World at War success was due to advertising and COD 3 success due to cheap price. But what it really seems to be is the brand is quite popular on the Wii and just waiting for someone to throw it a bone haha.

I mean this game has sold 3/4 of a million with no advertising simply building off the success of the first 2, hype from the HD games, and general want of a solid online shooter or Zapper capable shooter.

Activision, freaking step up here. If you would have given this game the same marketing as the Cabela's game, you easily could have a game well over a million right now and coming close to 2 million.

Third parties just never cease to surprise me. Call of Duty could be just as huge on Wii, but I guess they are content with just 1-1.5 million in sales for CoD Wii games but they could have so much more.
ash3336 (on 20 January 2010)
On the Wii of course.
ash3336 (on 20 January 2010)
Wow. Really nice. Biggest selling week a mature game has faced. (RE:UC doesnt count because it wasnt in the same week)
bmmb1 (on 20 January 2010)
@supermetalrockdave99 , it was somewhere in the neogaf NPD thread, but I am unable to find it anymore, only thing I can find now is someone quoting a destructoid article (not that reliable, I know). Generally regarding NPD numbers, while they do not have access to Walmart numbers, they estimate them, so that number (if correct) already took Walmart into account.
BigGumby (on 19 January 2010)
wow, compare sales to this and WaW and they are pretty much at the exact same spot at this time
Shadowfest3 (on 19 January 2010)
Wait! Did it just get adjusted UP? Sweet!
uno (on 18 January 2010)
damn! This will hit 1 mil much sooner than anticipated.
supermetalrockdave99 (on 18 January 2010)
Looks like it just got adjusted up to 528k. Wow. Guys, is vgchartz really accurate or are they just putting in good guesses? NPD stated that the game is over 500k and that supposedly doesn't include Wal-Mart. So what the hell is going on with their numbers? Shouldn't be closer to 600k in the US then?
supermetalrockdave99 (on 18 January 2010)
Can we have a link to the Neogaf post that states it's over 500k in the US?
Shadowfest3 (on 17 January 2010)
I saw MW: Reflex in the sales ad at Best Buy for $39.99 but the stores near me are sold out at the moment :(. I hope they have it in stock again by Friday so I can pick it up :).
bmmb1 (on 17 January 2010)
On another note- game is undertracked by 80,000 or more if NPD data is to be trusted - there have been several Neogaf posts saying that NPD lifetime data for Reflex is over 500,000 (NPD is US week ending January 2nd).
bmmb1 (on 17 January 2010)
@ash3336 - I own a business. If I find that something works for me and everybody else thinks it doesn't work (or hasn't tried it), I am very reluctant to let other people know. So unless they are feeling altruistic (or have some other motive), I don't see Activision announcing anything like that.
BigGumby (on 16 January 2010)

ash3336 (on 15 January 2010)
Activision should come out and say that mature games do sell on the Wii if the right effort is put into it. They should also give numbers for WaW and this to back it up. Only then, will these other developers stop whining and get serious.
Siko1989 (on 15 January 2010)

developers complain when there railshooters don't sell well and they try to make nintendo fans feel guilty and they act like we are the bad guys for not buying it.. railshooters just turns off alot of gamers..
Nintendogamer (on 13 January 2010)
650K, slowly creeping up onto that Million mark.
bazmeistergen (on 13 January 2010)
More likely to go up I think based on the comparison of online accounts with World at War.
kopstudent89 (on 13 January 2010)
i hope it doesnt get adjusted down though, lets wait for NPD
alexf10 (on 11 January 2010)
i have bought it this weekend...its really a nice port.

i played the original on the pc. so far i love every second of this one...:)
BigGumby (on 11 January 2010)

True, Wii owners don't want on rails games (no matter how good they really are) cheap ports (I wouldnt call this a cheap port..compared to others atleast). They want, as you said big budget titles that put the Wii controls to good use.
O-D-C (on 11 January 2010)
amazing game, loving every second
ECC (on 11 January 2010)
i hope to get treyarch next game because MW2 is a really bad call of duty game.
Nintendogamer (on 11 January 2010)
I can see this game topping 2 Million evetually.
Siko1989 (on 11 January 2010)

its proof that nintendo fans want big budget games like modern warfare
hazmatkr3w (on 10 January 2010)
620,000 sold? thats good for a 2 year old port.
BigGumby (on 10 January 2010)
great sales, definate million seller, once again proves that the Wii core audience is in existence.
Fededx (on 10 January 2010)
When is it gonna be released in Japan?
qwettydude (on 10 January 2010)
I think from now on it will sell 20K worldwide per week
Majin-Tenshinhan (on 10 January 2010)
Fantastic numbers.
Product (on 10 January 2010)
I'm real impressed by these numbers if even anywhere close to true as these are made up, but like I said if anywhere close with no advertisements or anything this is great.
marcianito (on 10 January 2010)
surprising sales! going to a million fast
uno (on 09 January 2010)
well, duh.
primogen18 (on 09 January 2010)
Agreed 100% dryon
qwettydude (on 09 January 2010)
i think it could be a good selling game in japan because the wii is their very popular
DrYon (on 08 January 2010)
Great sales, considering it's a 2 years old port with the sequel released same time. This game is proving how wrong the media and the third-parties are about the Wii. This "casual only audience" doesn't exists and Wii can handle HD engines even with downgraded graphics. The truth is: release good games for Wii made by top-notch developers with great appeal to general market, not some "test-games", casual stuff and targeted toward a limited audience, and you'll get good sales.
Pure (on 07 January 2010)
Guessing 80k In Americas this week judging by others sales.
uno (on 07 January 2010)

That is just "others" numbers. No Americas numbers are up yet.
Nintendogamer (on 07 January 2010)
It's climbing steadily, should surpass 1 Million soon.
icehawk101 (on 07 January 2010)
oh boy week 8 is the worst yet
Buzzi (on 07 January 2010)
If it's not overtracked I think great sales, the holidays are ending and legs are starting to get real...
Siko1989 (on 06 January 2010)

it is a crazy bet i must admit, but im sticking to my guns and i say 2 - 3 million lol

but i still cant understand why it got so much low reviews, this game is fantastic
Hobowan (on 06 January 2010)
well, it can be compared really...being the same game and all...

it may come out worse...but you can still compare it...!

imo, it may be worse graphically, online whatever, but to me the controls go a long way to bridging thst gap.

and the negative diffeence is not so huge that its a game breaker.
eliasg (on 06 January 2010)
this cant be compared with the original COD4...
Hobowan (on 06 January 2010)
the thing is, everyone who plays this will enjoy it, and will likely buy the next when it lands
so it is setting up a large, strong base of sales for the next one should it arrive within a year.
Buzzi (on 06 January 2010)
Uhm that is a crazy bet, the sales are up because of the holidays. But still it's a good sign for legs and 1 million is easy to reach. But I don't think it will be able to reach 2 m, even if it deserves it.
Siko1989 (on 06 January 2010)
i hope they start thinking about MW2 this year, the sales are going up each week lol.. i bet that this game will sell 3 million lifetime
zzyoshiman (on 05 January 2010)
less than half way there
primogen18 (on 04 January 2010)
awesome boost!
Hobowan (on 04 January 2010)
i played this on my bother's ps3 at christmas, after having played the wii version myself, and the graphics werent TOO dissimilar - obviously more muddy, texturless and worse lighting/shadows, but the models, motion, look and feel of the game remained.
but the controls are SOOOOO much better on the wii.

im so glad its doing well, it deserves it. if this had been released at the same time as the ps360 versions, sales would be double or triple this.

hopefully treyarch will be tasked with MW2 for next christmas after this show.
and even though ill own a ps3 by then, ill still by the wii version as the wiimote/nunchuck were BORN for fps's!

i hope sega take note of this as well as dead space!

im now gonna buy world at war!
famousringo (on 04 January 2010)
As great as the last week was, it's still tracking behind WaW. Should still make a million at minimum, though.
kevinlo9 (on 04 January 2010)
Just beat this game last night. Well worth the price of admission. Glad it finally made it to the Wii, maybe more high-profile PS360 games will follow?
zarx (on 04 January 2010)
2 million seller by 2011 lol
adam84 (on 04 January 2010)
wow, so mature game do sell on the wii. pretty sure waw never sold as many as 40k in a single week in others.
icehawk101 (on 04 January 2010)
holy crap it keeps going up
Majin-Tenshinhan (on 04 January 2010)
... Is this latest week for real?

That is... Massively impressive.
Siko1989 (on 04 January 2010)
holy shit, what boost
GianCarmen (on 03 January 2010)
Just imagine if activison had just pushed some advertising. Mature games can see on the Wii, just make good ones. Plus it helps that this is a Call of Duty Game. I am loving this game.
Tayne (on 03 January 2010)
wtf? 113k? WOW!
DOLBYdigital (on 03 January 2010)
Now that's what I like to see, I'm hoping for 1.5 m lifetime which should be possible
cliffhanger (on 03 January 2010)
@ash, yeah, i think 1 million is pretty much guaranteed at this point.
ash3336 (on 03 January 2010)
I seriously did not expect this from week 7. Wow. Million is not out of reach for this game.
famousringo (on 03 January 2010)
A merry Christmas for Treyarch. Here's hoping that their next CoD on Wii is even better.
cacafina (on 03 January 2010)
wow that last week was amazing!
SnowFlow (on 02 January 2010)
Well for a 2 year old game with limited features being sold at full price this is pretty good.
uno (on 30 December 2009)
anyone else notice how the "owners" of this game on VGchartz has been steadily rising?

MW2 would be cool but there is no confirmation. Besides when would it come out?
ash3336 (on 30 December 2009)
Adjusted down 4k. This is already in the top 10 best selling mature game on the Wii. Next week it will beat Overkill and NMH to become the 5th best selling mature game on the wii. It will go on to become 4th best selling game beating HotD2&3 but I do not think it will beat world at war. Million for this game is great. MW2 by springtime or summertime.
Siko1989 (on 30 December 2009)

i guess that makes sence, thanks for explaining, this has baffled me for ages now lol
intro94 (on 29 December 2009)
this game is good -famous-and has online, thats all we need really and buy.Another fantastic online game is naruto shippuden 3 and is selling ok too.
Muramasa and LKS..just brand new ips ,no online, harder to consider buying. Most ps360 best sellers have online btw(halo 3, Metal gear, GTA4, Resistance 2...)
So yeah, we just want the same.
Derixs (on 29 December 2009)
I am one of those new players. I have played the offline version for like 15 min... All the rest of my time has been spent on multiplayer.
bazmeistergen (on 29 December 2009)
200,000 online accounts now. New xmas players boost for the win.
Siko1989 (on 29 December 2009)
anyway this would be cool if it outsold the ps3 version lol
Siko1989 (on 29 December 2009)
wow us nintendo fans make no sense lol, i mean nintendo fans will buy this game but they wont buy other good games on the system lol
GuyDuke (on 28 December 2009)
Excellent. 400 000 is really good for a non hyped game. They should know now that Modern Warfare 2 is a possibility.
Derixs (on 28 December 2009)
I just got this for xmas. I am loving this game so far.
willyzzz (on 28 December 2009)
wii call of dutys always manage to sell a million even with crappy first weeks.
Shadowfest3 (on 27 December 2009)
I agree with you primogen18 and uno on the fact that Treyarch deserves more credit for this game. They did a great job porting this game to the Wii. I've only rented this but I plan to buy this game some time soon.
uno (on 26 December 2009)
Treyarch deserves more credit.

I prefer the Wiimote controls cause its more like an actual gun.

Great game. A short march to a million.
primogen18 (on 26 December 2009)
Also, sold out many places around here including the TRU I work at, has become a bit hard to find, hopefully they ship more out.
primogen18 (on 26 December 2009)
hate how this has IW stamped all over it in the game and the opening... IW wanted nothing to do with it and it is because of Treyarch we have it, they deserve more credit. This game is awesome, I think it will hit the million mark.
EntilZha (on 26 December 2009)
Wow! The numbers just keep getting bigger and bigger. It should be hitting a million in the next 3-4 months.
OmegaRugalv3 (on 26 December 2009)
Hope this sells well dispite IW hating the fact that Treyarch managed to port the game successfully.
Evil-Kirby (on 26 December 2009)
The best console version because of the Wiimote...
Tayne (on 25 December 2009)
Selling off of name alone. Good job Activision.
Siko1989 (on 25 December 2009)
a million seller in no time
icehawk101 (on 24 December 2009)
week 6 waay better than all other weeks!!!
adam84 (on 24 December 2009)
million no probs for this, after time of course :-) love the game
primogen18 (on 24 December 2009)
wow, the legs are insane on this thing!
Nintendogamer (on 24 December 2009)
400K! not bad, should be a million seller soon.
ECC (on 24 December 2009)
BEST fps of the year! this is how you make a fps high voltage! its not so much about tech as its about pure fun! reflex>>>>>>MW2
spurgeonryan (on 24 December 2009)
Thanks wing.
Arius Dion (on 24 December 2009)
Oh shit..This game is...selling?! Activision really dropped the ball with this series on the Wii. So much money left on the table..
uno (on 23 December 2009)
@ intro

RE5 for wii - link?
intro94 (on 23 December 2009)
another example is that ubisoft neglected the wii in POP and this year there will be a wii version.
intro94 (on 23 December 2009)
voltaire, you are outdated.Capcom just said that RE5 is considered for wii now.Thats a shift right there, right on your example.
Voltaire (on 22 December 2009)
Wow, i didnt think this game had it in it. Ok, i was hopeing it didnt, but obviously a massive franchise like CoD will sell on Wii. Its too late for "hopeing" 3rd parties get their heads out of their asses when it comes to Wii games. This, along with Capcoms refusal to have a "real" RE game on Wii, are two excellent examples.
chris_wing (on 22 December 2009)
@ spurgeonryan
I don't quite get your point, but Dead Space:E is the only rail shooter that does count as a AAA non port Wii game. As far as "dumbed down" ports not counting as "real games", MW:Reflex is not as stripped down as you'd think. There is no voice chat or HD, but the controls are better then the pad systems, and the levels are fully intact. It would be nice if an original IP on Wii could live up to this port though, I agree.
DOLBYdigital (on 21 December 2009)
Great sales rebound thanks to black friday. Largest week sell through was week 5, thats crazy but shows how many good games are out there. People are slow on picking up all the ones they want ;)
uno (on 20 December 2009)
this game will sell a million. I feel bad for games like Conduit which are original IP for the Wii but HVS just doesnt have the experience that IW and Treyarch do when it comes to FPS'
spurgeonryan (on 18 December 2009)
companies keep seeing dumbed down games that cost little to nothing selling good. lets make a real game for the wii and see how it does. Dead space extraction and other rail shooters and ports do not count. Rare would put there hearts into it.
primogen18 (on 18 December 2009)
I knew this game would see the same pattern as W@W, awesome! I hope it keeps on chugging!
novasonic (on 18 December 2009)
maybe the success of this will convince more 3rd party developers to stop bullshitting the wii.
chris_wing (on 18 December 2009)
Sales are picking up, wow. This could pass the Conduit next week in terms of sales!
marcianito (on 17 December 2009)
5 week is the biggest week
adam84 (on 17 December 2009)
nice numbers, good to see this doing well. 1 mil should be no problem for this one. Will take just that bit longer to get there than what it took waw. waw is 1.36 mil and still going.
famousringo (on 17 December 2009)
Tracking well below WaW now, but still doing well enough that it will turn Activision a good profit before the end of the year.
Derixs (on 17 December 2009)
Nice! this game sold more in the 5th week in the USA than it has since launch. Looking forward to getting this game.
shuckille (on 16 December 2009)
check ur corners!!!!!!!!
intro94 (on 16 December 2009)
it went a bit down, but december will be another hot month.300-400k?Sure thing. Success all over the place for a belated port. 1 million before MW2 arrives.
Batman...WTF? (on 16 December 2009)
This is actually selling... Whoa.
mandisc (on 15 December 2009)
Went into a supermarket in the UK last night and this was sitting at number 7 on the Wii chart. That's good news in the xmas run up. It's not far behind WAW on sales and as primogen said, without any advertisement (I remember seeing WAW advertised everywhere) this is doing great. I look forward to more people online to destroy lol
zzyoshiman (on 14 December 2009)
went down
primogen18 (on 14 December 2009)
A mistake? I beg to differ. This game got ZERO promotion on it's own, and while the MW2 release worked against it, it was actually more of a boost. Most places that had special MW2 displays and such put MW:RE out there too. (walmart, toys r us, etc). If MW2 hadn't had shared some of the that (though the little it shared), MW:RE would have had that much less exposure. It's not like this would have had anything at all on it's own, it would have dropped even more silently. I think sharing a special display with MW2 is better then nothing.
SaviorX (on 14 December 2009)
200k in a month flat.

Not much farther until Treyarch starts making that money back. They spent more on this than World at War, but after the year ends, it should be in profit mode.
zarx (on 13 December 2009)
releasing so close to MW2 was a mistake, it should have been out last year
primogen18 (on 13 December 2009)
in a few weeks this went from #300 something on amazon to around 50 overall right now, a very good leap and it seems to be stable in popularity.
down-down-down-down- (on 13 December 2009)
after 2 years -.-......
Siko1989 (on 13 December 2009)
wow wii owners are proving those jack asses Infinity ward wrong, with no marketing whats so ever this could be a million seller easy, with marketing this will sell 2 million....

can this be profitable for treyarch yet?
zzyoshiman (on 12 December 2009)
1/4 way there
primogen18 (on 12 December 2009)
nice legs and lil boost in other, hope this continues to sell!
palancas7 (on 12 December 2009)
I don't know about the other, but the Conduit was massibely adjusted down after the NPD numbers were revealed. Here it had a 110k+ launch before it was adjusted.
patjuan32 (on 12 December 2009)
@ Chrizum,

NPD stopped collecting data for the month of November on the 28th. This leaves two days unaccounted for.

Also data from Canada, Mexico, and Latin America is not counted by the NPD data that was recently released.

Is Latin America even tracked at all?
kopstudent89 (on 12 December 2009)
VGchartz have done bolder decisions, even after NPD numbers, madden Wii, conduit, muramasa nad Beatles Rockband werent adjusted down. So i think numbers will stay the same here
Tuulikk (on 12 December 2009)
NPD is not for all of America, right?
Chrizum (on 11 December 2009)
No rumours, NPD data has been released for november.
famousringo (on 11 December 2009)
@ Chrizum

Do you mean "according to a rumour of NPD numbers," or has the rumour been confirmed?
Chrizum (on 11 December 2009)
Overtracked by about 25k according to NPD.
intro94 (on 10 December 2009)
lol activision didnt pay a penny in ads(tv wise) yet this is performing. 1st month =200k very good start.MW2 will have to come before COD7, thats for sure.Treyarch will be busy no doubt.
IxisNaugus (on 09 December 2009)
This is doing better than i expected.
icehawk101 (on 07 December 2009)
nice! better sales on week 3 than 2 and 1.
Excel_K (on 07 December 2009)
Glad to see it's doing quite well. This game is pretty damned addictive.
primogen18 (on 07 December 2009)
ECC: either way it seems on track with W@W, which is still a good thing. Hopefully the brand recognition and those who are wii-only owners with a thirst for more COD after the drought will be enough to take this all the way.
ash3336 (on 07 December 2009)
I bought it last week. I am one of those 81, 763 people. YAY!!! On its way to a million or two.
mandisc (on 07 December 2009)
awesome. Word of mouth will conquer all lol
cgkc17 (on 07 December 2009)
How do you know its legs and not the standard holiday boost??
ECC (on 06 December 2009)
Great sales! in my opinion the best call of duty to release this year.
Siko1989 (on 06 December 2009)
wow no advertisement at all and it has amazing legs lol awesome.. keep going i hope others help as well
primogen18 (on 06 December 2009)
Just like World at war, we are seeing a boost in the 3rd week, great!
uno (on 06 December 2009)
Damn. It sold more in America in the 3rd week than it did total for its first week. Word of mouth will carry this game.
marcianito (on 06 December 2009)
selling great
Paul (on 06 December 2009)
The christmas bump really seems to be driving this one up. awesome week three sales.
NeoStar9 (on 04 December 2009)
Glad this is selling even with Activision sabotaging it.
Derixs (on 03 December 2009)
With the exact number of 106,854 copies sold at 50$ each this game has already made over 5 million dollars. If we suggest that tyretch gets about 20.00 per game they have made just over 2 million dollars on this port alone. And its still selling.
adam84 (on 02 December 2009)
haha i see your point but when i know i can't buy a game i want it more :-)
Siko1989 (on 02 December 2009)

no its not, its never good news when a game sells out when people want to buy the games lol
adam84 (on 01 December 2009)
thats always good news, it was sold out on the uk a week or so ago aswell.
cliffhanger (on 01 December 2009)
I think it's doing pretty good. Currently sold out on and .ca.
uno (on 30 November 2009)
I feel confident it will hit a million by next Nov. But will Activision green light the port of MW2? If so when will it release? COD7 is coming to Wii next November.
ash3336 (on 30 November 2009)
Best Online game on the Wii! and the Best shooter overall.
mandisc (on 30 November 2009)
legs are guaranteed
DOLBYdigital (on 30 November 2009)
Decent sales but hoping Black Friday gives this game a big push. Would love to see another 40k week in US. Either way, its a good start and it should stay strong through the holiday season.
Monteblanco (on 29 November 2009)
Not a big drop from the first week. It seems it might have some good legs.
uno (on 28 November 2009)
This game deserves great sales. I have already put in 39 hours of play where my total time playing WAWii was 261.
Siko1989 (on 27 November 2009)
120k already? don't pinch me im dreaming
ash3336 (on 27 November 2009)
I bet that by the end of year, the sales of this game will be over 700k.
adam84 (on 27 November 2009)
100k already! very good. now lets see your wii legs kick in.
primogen18 (on 27 November 2009)
nice legs, this should reach about the same next week with the black friday sales. I saw a few of these go while I was working and everyone seamed pleased to discover it.
MarioGalaxy (on 27 November 2009)
Very Good Sales. I'm surprised about those numbers. It's quite similar to WaW numbers one year ago!
May be could reach the 1 M mark as the two previous games? Who knows...
Falk Sturmfels (on 27 November 2009)
Pretty good sales, guys. It may not reach WaW because its an old port, but i guess its gonna reach .5 million for sure.
primogen18 (on 24 November 2009)
dreaming? Look at the sales record of the last one, and then the one before that which both made it past 1 million, it's not exactly a stretch to think this might do the same.
Hisiru (on 23 November 2009)
Excellent numbers for a 2 years old port with zero advertising.
primogen18 (on 23 November 2009)
I can't wait to get this game, I still want world at war as well for some variety!
Siko1989 (on 23 November 2009)
nice.. and this game is 2 years old to lol
Hero_Of_Time (on 22 November 2009)
What happened? Gamespot wrote the accurate review while IGN wrote the biased and inaccurate piece of crap. Did IGN and Gamespot switch writers or something? With Matt leaving did Mark go insane?
marcianito (on 22 November 2009)
1 million seller for sure, it was a good opening for a game with no advertising at all
Buzzi (on 22 November 2009)
Seriously without a good marketing how did you think it could sell well?I thought it would have sold less than 50k first week, now I'm sure it will sell well over time, I hope for 1 million or more.
mandisc (on 21 November 2009)
Here we go again with the "flop" crap in the comments section. Intro94 summed it up really. Go and look at world at war. In particular go and look at the comments section for the early days of sales and see a repeat of what is happening here. WAW went onto to sell 1.32 mil. Go away and let us enjoy the game please
Nintendogamer (on 21 November 2009)
It should hit 1 million pretty soon, and 60,000 for the first 4 days for a port, it's not a bad case.
Vertigo-X (on 20 November 2009)
This game is great even on the Wii! I'm loving the controls!
famousringo (on 20 November 2009)
@ Ghazi4

I wouldn't say it cost nothing. The dev team is reported to be 30 souls, who have presumably been working since they finished the Wii version of WaW.

The typical estimate of 30 people working for one year would put this title at around $3 million to make. Should be turning profits by 200k units.
dark_gh0st_b0y (on 20 November 2009)
nice opening, considering how old it is and 0 promotion
Ghazi4 (on 20 November 2009)
this game prob barely costed them anything so this is just bonus cash for em lol
RDBRaptor (on 20 November 2009)
Good for a two year port, I'm not expecting very big numbers for this game.
EntilZha (on 20 November 2009)
Good numbers for a 2 year old port with no advertising and only 3-4 days of sales numbers. What is important here is that it is a good game and good games for Wii always have great legs.
Fleeman (on 20 November 2009)
those are huge numbers for no footage and 5 horrible screens
Kenology (on 19 November 2009)
Solid opening. Under WaW but a given since this is a two year old port and WaW was brand new. Should leg it out to a million no problem.
primogen18 (on 19 November 2009)
its good for the amount of advertisement it had.. which was absolutely nothing. Remember how COD:WAW had some lackluster sales at first then crept up from there and had a few really good weeks, this might happen here as well. Still, if they complain, they have nobody to blame but themselves.
marcianito (on 19 November 2009)
good sales for having no advertising
The_Killer (on 19 November 2009)
Wonder if it will get the same sales as the PS3 version or 360 version. I would guess it will fall just short hitting 5 million Lifetime.
famousringo (on 19 November 2009)
Decent enough launch, assuming it sees the legs that the last game had.
TheThunder (on 19 November 2009)
Any marketing for this ?
adam84 (on 19 November 2009)
nice first 4 days sales, looking good for christmas.
primogen18 (on 18 November 2009)
Also, look at W@W, how many times did I look online or in a store ad and see "PS3 and 360", nobody ever mentioned it came out for Wii, not even in store ads, and that went to 1 m and is still going.
primogen18 (on 18 November 2009)
Im definitely buying the game. Walmart had a nice display of it covering some of the MW2 display and said it was going rather quickly. I know I will be getting it sometime soon.
Falk Sturmfels (on 18 November 2009)
@All: Yeah you guys are making good points - but look at the hits Reflex gets on vgcartz. there are a lot of interested people about this game. But - do they buy this game or do we hace thousands of hackers here?
DrYon (on 17 November 2009)
Of course the anti-Wii media is trashing this game because it's a threat to all beliefs from this biased people. They say that Wii can't handle hardcore games and the engines made for HD consoles cannot be done on Wii. Treyarch is just proving them wrong and they'll do whatever they can to hide this fact. They somewhat succeed with Dead Rising and now they'll strike again against this.
DOLBYdigital (on 17 November 2009)
Yeah the gaming sites are really trying to kill this game. At least vgchartz gave it a fair and good review. Very fun game that should be in any action or FPS gamer's library :)

Spread the word and lets help this get to a million.
Zucas (on 17 November 2009)
After playing a few levels it is definitley very well done. Controls are spectacular... just going to take awhile to get used to FPS wii controls again haha. Only graphics complaint I have is lighting. They could have done a much better job on that aspect.
Gintoki (on 16 November 2009)
Awesome game.
oliist (on 14 November 2009)
Friend Code option added!
Smeags (on 14 November 2009)
Multiplayer's pretty fun... except for the fact that I'm a level 5 cannon fodder going against level 30-somethings. I'm getting better though! Soon I shall be feared, muahahaha! >:)
Konvict (on 13 November 2009)
ok this is my first coment on this website so here goes. last year i along with a million other people bought call of duty wolrd at war for my wii. while i was expecting much in the form of the single player mode ( lets face it another ww2 game) i was completly supprised by the online play. needless to say some 4 or 5 prestige's later i had reached my fill of WAW, so when i heard that Modern Warfare was heading to the Wii i got really excited as all my friends who got it for the 360 said it was amazing. so my copy of reflex arrives and i jump straight into the single player and let me tell you it was kick ass from start to finish the game looks great much better then WAW and the online is WAW X10! so after beating the game i decied to look what other people ( namley game sites) have said about reflex, imagine my supprise when almost all the " professionals" have been slamming the game for everything from " blcoky character models" to dull looking graphics ( thats always my favorite bit about game reviews about how military inspired games and game settings always look dull HELLO its the military and government they invented dull and boring!!!! come on guys its a game that lets you run around shotting people and blowing stuff up, not to mention it has all the stuff the 360 owners had to pay extra for already in there. so ignore the so called professionals i have come to realise that they are ( and im sure sum1 else already said this) just mad because this game ( in their opinion) should have been on Wii 2 years ago. One Million sales+ HERE WE COME!!!!!
Salnax (on 13 November 2009)
Other than IGN and Eurogamer, everybody seems to agree that this is a good port. My only problem with that is that this will crush all of the native FPS's on the Wii like The Conduit extinct.
ECC (on 13 November 2009)
best fps on wii and i will even say its more fun than the HD version.
ash3336 (on 12 November 2009)
Get this Ofcourse, motion controls with IR pwns FPS. Plus this game has everything the original with a lot of extras.
zzyoshiman (on 12 November 2009)
should i get this or save up to get a 360 to get MW
mandisc (on 12 November 2009)
Ok Im having a stupid minute. Can anyone remind me how to add my friend code to this website?
mandisc (on 12 November 2009)
Just finished the campaign and extensive online play. This game rocks! I dont know why IGN pumped out that biased review. I think that they are still sore over the fact that the game is 2 years old so they were never going to be satisfied anyway. Buy this game so that MW: 2 has a chance at being ported and to further convince Activision that COD is a sound investment on the Wii. COD 3 and WAW sold over a million, I don't see why this won't
DOLBYdigital (on 12 November 2009)
IGN has been on a long path down when it comes to reviews/previews and well just their overall reporting. Played the game a little bit last night and found no issues with the cursor which is something IGN kept nagging about. Will check out the online tonight, see ya online :)
uno (on 11 November 2009)
i am already addicted. Screw IGN. They thought Conduit was amazing.
Fleeman (on 11 November 2009)
horrible review from IGN it only got a 7 everyone is trying to bring this game down
bazmeistergen (on 11 November 2009)
Super game
adam84 (on 11 November 2009)
bought it love it
zzyoshiman (on 11 November 2009)
going to get this when i have the money
DOLBYdigital (on 11 November 2009)
Grabbing this today but yeah I haven't seen or heard this at all. They aren't spending any money on ads so this will take awhile to get going. I'm hoping it will get to 1.5 mil lifetime but not confident.
Paul (on 10 November 2009)
Add your friends codes here at the official friends codes thread :)
primogen18 (on 10 November 2009)
Hm, it's funny that in the summary it says "n a fight where speed, accuracy and communication** are essential to victory, your wits will serve... ", why wasn't Wii Speak included again? Anyway, I think this will see good word of mouth sales and xmas boosts as WaW did, but some kind of advertising would help. Hopefully the banner ads at IGN are a preview of more promotion.
uno (on 10 November 2009)
gonna get my copy today, hours away!!!

I think this game will sell really well because its a great game and word of mouth will spread like wildfire.

at least 1.5 mil is my prediction
wick (on 10 November 2009)
Just been playing for a few hours and I'm impressed. Hoping to get my Wi-Fi fixed tomorrow so I can try the online. So far so good.
ash3336 (on 09 November 2009)
Last year I got world at war and was disappointed by it. It was a watered down port with only 2 game modes and 8 maps. Only 8 players on a huge map with barely passing graphics. I returned that game.

This year I am excited about this game and am plannign on buying it. 13 game modes in 16 maps with 10 player per match and pretty impressive graphics. Hell yeah I am buying.
ash3336 (on 09 November 2009)
And christmas sales in weeks 3-5.
adam84 (on 08 November 2009)
lets hope it has a big first week. waw did around 60k. think weeks 3+4 will be the biggest weeks for this game because like ash3336 said, word of mouth.
ash3336 (on 08 November 2009)
I still think that it will sell as word of mouth and christmas should boost it like it did for WAW. I think it might sell around 1.5 million to 2 million but it might not. You never know.
RedInker (on 07 November 2009)
Just pre-ordered it. I'm stunned by the lack of promotion though.
chris_wing (on 07 November 2009)
This game looks decent for a Wii game. People will B**** and M*** about the lack of realtime shadows and lower texture resolutions, but the improved controls over the HD sisters is a valid reason for this game to exist. W@W was a FUN time on Wii.
ECC (on 06 November 2009)
i have this game and would recommend it to any fps fan. the game looks and play alot better than w@w
DOLBYdigital (on 06 November 2009)
Haven't seen any videos, ads, or any kind of hype for this game which is sad. I'll be grabbing it and it will probably do okay over the long run. Many are probably looking forward to MW2 which I think looks beat. This will probably be the last COD i'll be getting for awhile ;)
Shadowfest3 (on 06 November 2009)

I watched some multiplayer vids as well and I will be picking this up for sure, when I get the money of course.
adam84 (on 05 November 2009)
@ Boneitis
its sad isnt it about the lack of hype. im pretty sure most buyers are waiting to see if it was any good first. this should get off to a flying start but with most wii games the legs will be amazing :-)
Boneitis (on 05 November 2009)
Less than a week until its release and its not even on the top 40 preordered games. This is looking like it'll be one of the best Wii games ever but its not getting much hype.
Paul (on 05 November 2009)
Those videos look great.
adam84 (on 05 November 2009)
just watched a couple of the online multiplayer vids before they were taken off :-) cannot believe the amazing job treyarch have done with it. hats off. graphics are the best ive seen on wii by miles.
ziemjak (on 05 November 2009)
there are a 4 photos link in photobucket show something new
Shadowfest3 (on 04 November 2009)
I'm disappointed that there haven't been any updated photos or ever a trailer showing something from the game. I will wait for videos of some gameplay and multiplayer on youtube before I buy this. Of course I have to wait anyways since I'm poor at the moment.
uno (on 02 November 2009)
being delivered on the 10th from Amazon. There is little chance that the gameplay is worse than the HD versions. My most anticipated game of the season.

7 days left.
ash3336 (on 30 October 2009)
Or if early reviews are over 8.5/10.
ash3336 (on 30 October 2009)
Day 1 if I see good videos being posted on youtube.
adam84 (on 29 October 2009)
game pre-ordered :-)
ziemjak (on 28 October 2009)
12 days until release!! I'm worry about that game, because the game must be finish right now and tested, then why no screens or video??
Paul (on 26 October 2009)
I just pre-ordered it. I hope it doesn't suck.
adam84 (on 25 October 2009)
god i hope its not, i can see the release being put back can't you? i should be good but it just seems like they are rushing it.
ziemjak (on 25 October 2009)
only two weeks to release!! But no cfukng video or trailer. :-/ It will be crap??
adam84 (on 20 October 2009)
still no video :-(
uno (on 18 October 2009)
This game is gonna rock.

Lifetime sales will be more than COD WAW Wii.
adam84 (on 14 October 2009)
lol, hope we see a vid soon. but im not worried yet. if it's as good as waw then im a happy man.
ash3336 (on 12 October 2009)
still no video...
adam84 (on 09 October 2009)
one month to go :-)
ash3336 (on 06 October 2009)
No, I actually think the first week sales will be high considering the fanbase is set with codwaw and so they will get it right away.

I am predicting around 100-150k in the first week.

But again, no more than 85 on metacritic.
primogen18 (on 29 September 2009)
Wii speak was not confirmed, someone was mis-informed. One of the actual developers said they didn't know where people got their information from and Wii Speak will not be in the game.
mandisc (on 26 September 2009)
Just saw that Wii Speak is confirmed. I am excited for this as a person who didnt get to play it on 360/ps3 and with buddies ready to go wii speak support is great
ash3336 (on 22 September 2009)
Watch, it will get no more than 85 on metacritic.
uno (on 20 September 2009)
@ ash

This will be a commercial success and is ALREADY a critically acclaimed success. Its the same game that got all those billions of awards so how could the game be worse?

Just because it doesnt have WiiSpeak and Splitscreen does not mean the gameplay will suffer dramatically.
ash3336 (on 19 September 2009)
Commercially this will be a major success but Critically I see this doing just above average due to taking away of so many features.
adam84 (on 17 September 2009)
same here, i loved waw on wii and this is going to be amazing. What should we expect the sales to be like?? 1.5 mil I think.
Shadowfest3 (on 13 September 2009)
Hey cool first post! I like the addition of "Reflex." Of course they only did this, in my opinion, to jazz up a game that's a 2 year old port. Anyways, I will buy this game whether it had reflex in the name or not.

drake_tolu (on 28 July 2014)
Fantastic game.
Best Call of Duty.
i'm happy for the fact other 1,500,000
Nintendri have played this game.
Fededx (on 07 July 2012)
Well, Activision can't complain, it
sold very good. Might have made a big
profit for sure, specially considering
it's a port of and older game.
theRepublic (on 27 September 2011)
Single player is good, but marred by
terrible hit detection. Multiplayer is
addicting, but the match making seems
like it has issues.
spurgeonryan (on 04 July 2011)
14.99 used would get it a place above
COD3 for wii, and make me happy.
primogen18 (on 24 June 2011)
finally went down to $19.99 used at
gamestop, $17.99 with card
