Guitar Hero®: On Tour  for  the Nintendo DS™ is sure to rock the handheld music genre forever. It will ship with a revolutionary Guitar Grip™ peripheral that fits snugly into the DS for the most portable Guitar Hero experience to date. Guitar Hero®: On Tour has exactly what is needed to make this handheld version a new rock legend.

For the first time, handheld gamers will have the freedom to unleash their inner rock star anywhere, anytime with Guitar Hero®: On Tour for the Nintendo DS™. The game will deliver a unique Guitar Hero® experience by challenging handheld gamers to rock out and prove their shredding skills on the most diverse set list of master tracks ever offered in a Guitar Hero® game, including classic rock, alternative and pop favorites such as Nirvana, OK Go and No Doubt.

All-New Hardware For The DS
For the first time, Guitar Hero® goes on tour with your DS using the innovative Guitar Grip™ and Guitar Hero®  pick-stylus to strum the touch-activated screen like a true rocker.

Rock Out With Other Fans
Fans can join together to play in co-op mode using a local wireless network, or battle each other in a Guitar Duel using new Battle Items unique to the DS. For example, players must blow into the microphone to extinguish a pyrotechnics effect gone wrong, or use the touch screen to autograph a crazed fan’s shirt in the middle of their set.
 
Customize Your Inner Rock Star
Select from six characters, including two new rockers exclusive to the DS. Earn money at your gigs to unlock new outfits for your rocker. Choose from a wide variety of Gibson guitars and new musical venues.

Activision: If you want to sell games to the Japanese, try including Japanese music. Just a thought.

Activision says they are confident about DSi, and that they have this all figured out. It was in a video at IGN sometime, I don't remember which. I wouldn't be so sure you won't be able to rock these games on DSi somehow.

This is getting nasty sales. I think this has a GOOD shot at 3 million.

Still sucks about the DSi but still, most people will still own a DS Lite over a DSi in US and Europe.
