You can play with 1 friend and 10 randoms. You can click on a friend and join their race/battle group once their current race/battle has ended.

@ Rol: how do you avoid all the weapons and mayhem? I use every corner and ramp to boost and make wheelies all the time. Yet one Pow Block and I'm back to 4th place or so... I see you have a head start everytime (again, how do you do that? I could do it in older MK games but not here) and you go so fast that we never so you again.

BTW I beat you one time, it's 31-1 or something like that
