  • Persona 3 Portable (PSP) - 225k sold / 170k expected


 North America

  • Persona (PSP) - 49k sold / 35k expected
  • Demon's Souls (PS3) - 280k sold / 75k expected
  • 101-in-1 Party Megamix (Wii) - 189k sold / 100k expected

Niche and casual games are very hard to track.



I'd say ouch for Demon's Souls, but it's done 3x what they expected.




If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

Agreed, though VGC usually seems pretty good on the casual end.  Megamix is likely severely undertracked, as I seriously doubt it's overshipped.



I can't even find the number 280 in any context in that presentation, so which part exactly is saying which games sold how much and their expectations?

I'm not too surprised, that Demon's Souls is overtracked, but ~300k really is a lot more than I expected.

Not trying to start a flamewar here, but I could imagine that another well known JRPG is probably just as much overtracked as well...
