The Wii passes the 86 million mark and the PlayStation 3 will pass the 50 million mark next week, unless the slim chance the PSN hack caused sales for the week to be cut in half. Software milestone this week: Wii Sports Resort passes the 26 million mark. Five games sold over 200,000, eight sold over 100,000 and the top 17 sold over 50,000.

The Xbox 360 is dong well, but it has been behind in hardware and software sales for a while now. Multiplatform titles are selling better on the PS3. PS3 hardware sales have started to surpass the Xbox 360 on a weekly basis. By the end of this generation, Microsoft may backslde to third place.

@Justp94 - It'll be the next 2 weeks figures that will give us a true idea of how the PSN hack has effected things, people who don't frequent sites like these were only starting to hear about it on 23rd and wouldn't have felt the full force of the media hate. But here's hoping people generally don't over react, but I'd imagine W/E 30th April figures could have a noticeable dip.
