Hideo Kojima Promoted to VP of Konami Digital Entertainment

Effective April 1st, famed creator of the Metal Gear franchise and Kojima productions lead Hideo Kojima will be promoted to Vice President and corporate officer of Konami Digital Entertainment, which is the publication wing of the Konami Corporation.

Pro Evolution Soccer's Shinji Enomoto is to be promoted to the same position.

Konami recently bought out Hudson Soft (known for Bomberman, Bonk, and Adventure Island franchises,) and is the likely reason behind so many corporate shufflings. Konami's Kazuhiko Uehara will now be running Hudson Soft's wheelhouse.

Last year saw a drop in profits for Konami who said that the figures, "roughly [met] their earnings forecast, despite the postponement of several titles."
