Back to the Future Game by Telltale Will Star Christopher Lloyd
by VGChartz Staff, posted on 01 September 2010 / 2,721 ViewsIt was announced way back at E3 2010 that Telltale Games would be partnering with Universal to bring games based on the Jurassic Park and Back to the Future franchises to PC, PSN, and XBLA gamers, one small episodic chunk at a time, this winter. In the USA Today today, Telltale dropped a few more details on the Back to the Future games.
Let's see what little nuggets of knowledge we can pull from their article, shall we?
- It will include the likenesses of Michael J. Fox (as Marty McFly) and Christopher Lloyd (as Doc Brown) in the game. Lloyd will also voice his own character.
- Bob Gale, the man that wrote the screenplays for the films, is working with Telltale on the plot of the five episodes.
- The games will include at least an appearance of the iconic DeLorean and the fictional California setting of Hill Valley.
- It will be set in 1985 (and hopefully other time periods, as well), and secondary characters from the film will pop up throughout the game.
That's not a lot of info to go on, but the involvement of both Christopher Lloyd and the original films' screenwriter is a good sign. And come on... it's Telltale. They haven't led us astray yet.
Oh, and one more thing:
