Super Bomberman R Sells an Estimated 127K Units First Week at Retail - Sales

The action-maze game from Konami and HexaDrive - Super Bomberman R - sold 126,850 units first week at retail, according to our estimates. First week sales can be viewed on the VGChartz Global Weekly Chart for the week ending March 4.

 

Breaking down the sales by region, the game sold best in Europe with 39,589 units sold (31%), compared to 38,920 units sold in the US (31%) and 37,465 units in Japan (30%). Looking more closely at Europe, the game sold an estimated 9,137 units in the UK, 9,737 units in Germany, and 8,429 units in France.

Super Bomberman R released for the Nintendo Switch worldwide on March 3.

I wonder if this would be considered good or bad. The game is being released for a pretty high price, even considering the content, so it is most likely good. A bit disappointing this was outsold by 1,2 Switch, but considering the huge marketing Nintendo has been giving that game in comparison to this one, this just proves that there's still a market for these classic series.
