Hitman Sells an Estimated 238K Units First Week at Retail - Sales

The season one disc of the episodic stealth game from Square Enix - Hitman: The Complete First Season - sold 237,674 units first week at retail, according to our estimates. First week sales can be viewed on the VGChartz Global Weekly Chart for the week ending February 4.

Breaking down the sales by platform, the game sold best on the PlayStation 4 with 162,930 units sold (69%), compared to 74,744 units sold on the Xbox One (31%). 

 

Breaking down the sales by region, the game sold best in the US with 137568 units sold (58%), compared to 52,123 units sold in Europe (22%). Looking more closely at Europe, the game sold an estimated 12,318 units in the UK, 6,447 units in Germany*, and 9,467 units in France.

Hitman: The Complete First Season released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in North America and Europe on January 31.

*Xbox One figures are missing for Germany
