Loving this game. Already put nearly 40 hours into it. Finally a Pokemon game for console! :P

wait... is it actually like Pokemon?

It is. Though it has some variations on the combat and such that make it stand out as its own thing. The general nutshell for the game though is you run around collecting Final Fantasy monsters (mirages) and leveling them to evolve them and make your team more powerful as you go through the story.

Pokemon has already being in console, but just as with this one, the experience is not even close to the handheld ones.

That's nice to hear. It's a good game, so it deserves every sale it can get!

That's pretty good! Nice to see the vita have legs. Personally, I think putting this on PS3 would've added some extra units too. The game can't be too demanding, right?

I feel like a general rule would be if Vita can do it so can PS3 no? I grabbed the Vita version myself. Nothing like a fun FF game on the go.

Decent sales for the spinoff, it can try to reach the million once it starts getting discounts in both digital and retail sales.

I've bought it, and I'm enjoying it! It's a bit different from the typical FF games, in the sense it's much less serious. I would have much preferred the real characters instead of the chibi ones, and the combat is a bit too much on the easy side (but so it is in all FF games with ATB, apart from few nasty bosses in other games). Still, it's a Final Fantasy game and as such it MUST be played! ^_^

Like when a monster bigger than Godzilla was exterminating entire towns? Or when a guy with a very long sword killed a beautiful innocent girl? Or when a mad man destroyed an entire world?Or when the leading girl died? Or look at the very beginning of Type 0. Not to mention that usually they are all orphans and crying over it. WoFF is nothing like that, and actually it has plenty of stupid but hilarious scenes.

u mean ff7, where u had to dress the main char like a girl and later get raped by a pack of bodybuilders in gay sauna?

That's nothing compared to the goblin princess in love, the poor dear. Or the cactuar "catching". Not to mention that you conveniently disregarded all the dramatic moments I mentioned. And the fact, that at least up to where I am now (cogna missions), there is nothing like that in WoFF.
