The Pokémon Company has officially revealed a new Mythical Pokémon called Volcanion.

It is the first ever Pokémon that is both a fire type and a water type. It is able to combine the two to create steam.

You can view a trailer for Volcanion below:

"Unlike any Pokémon discovered before it, this Pokémon is both Fire and Water type. It uses fire and water to create steam within its body, expelling explosive shock waves and boiling steam from the arms on its back. The power is said to be great enough to blow away an entire mountain, gouging out the earth and changing the shape of the land."

More details are 'coming soon'.

Volcanion is both Water and Fire type. Meaning within the context of the game, it has access to both Water and Fire type attacks, each of which are strong against different types of Pokémon.

Imagine if he was a fire fighter. He makes the fires, but stops them as well.

Damn!
What's next?
Water and Grass type?
Fire and Grass type?
Flying and Ground type?
And all these other Pokemon whom have the two opposite types that has one weak to the other?
I'm serious guys, this could lead to interesting, unique Pokemon that could bring these new elements to the battle system.

Everyone laughed at me when we were kids, making up our own pokemon and I insisted on a fire and water type. Well who's laughing now?!

Don't worry. People are still laughing. This is ridiculous.

And? The game still sales like hot cakes and gets great reviews, so I strongly doubt they miss you.

And? He's aloud to express his opinion. No need for this passive-aggressive response.

It was his opinion, but that doesn't mean it wasn't a stupid one.

Plus if he didn't like Pokemon anymore, why the hell did he even click the story?

Makes me think he just wanted some attention.
