Batman: Arkham Knight Sells 2.1M Units First Week - Sales

The latest Batman game - Batman: Arkham Knight - had a strong first week, selling 2.09 million units worldwide at retail (week ending June 27), according to the VGChartz Global Weekly Chart.

The PlayStation 4 version accounted for two-thirds of the total with 1.46 million units sold. The Xbox One version sold 569,398 units, while the PC retail version sold 57,293 units.

The game helped drive PlayStation 4 sales up 58 percent to 242,237 units sold and Xbox One sales up 26 percent to 94,057 units sold.

Batman: Arkham Knight was released worldwide on June 23. The game was developed by Rocksteady Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.
