Nintendo has released the sales figures for their third fiscal quarter and the nine month period, which ended on December 31, 2014. Revenue for the third quarter was ¥271.5 billion, while net income was ¥45.2 billion.

"Based on the sales performance for the nine months ended December 31, 2014 and afterwards, net sales and operating income are expected to be lower than our original forecasts," read the report. "Also, considering recent trends in foreign currency exchanges, assumed exchange rates for the fourth financial quarter as well as at the end of the full fiscal year have been revised as follows: ¥115 per U.S. dollar (previous rate: ¥100), ¥130 per euro (previous rate: ¥140). As a result, we have revised up the ordinary income and net income forecasts."

For the full fiscal year Nintendo expects revenue to drop year-over-year to ¥550 billion, while net income is expected to grow to ¥30 billion.

Glad they made a profit. On the down side, it's obvious that the 3DS and Wii U are overtracked.
