This is great news. It's something they didn't need to do, but it shows they're trying to make up for the problems they had. More companies should do this.

CGI-Quality and Blood_Tears... You are so getting pissed off when ever someone is making even a neutral comment about Sony. Just CALM down, as I said I do not EVEN think Sony should be compensating AT ALL because it is not their fault. Stop your defense force for once and try to do not see everything Sony vs Microsoft... Gosh you guys are so killing me lol Esp. you CGI-Quality with your "pretty obvious why you'd find that" check my post history, I am Microsoft fan not a Sony haters...

So no extended play time or refund of time wasted on the D/C's?, nah of course not, it's better to get more money from your customers than make it up to them, MS would get lambasted for doing this.

I get the fact they want to compensate but if people did not buy anything during holidays time, I do not think giving them the opportunity to "buy" more stuff is a real compensation :)

Really? That is what you got from this? The extension wasn't to compensate for being down, it was to give people a chance to take advantage of a sale that they could not access during the attack.
