"£299.97 for the White PS4 Console, this is not a mistake! Don't miss out on this offer!£299.97 for a next gen console," GameStop tweeted.
Microsoft first cut the price of the Xbox One to £329.99 in September to undermine the PlayStation 4. However, just days later Sony matched the price point with a FIFA 15 bundle. Both consoles have had healthy sales since launch and the price wars has helped push even more consoles.

Holy shit, that really is getting cheap. I´ll have to get one someday....wait, I´m not from United Kingdom. Noooooooo!
Also, GameStop is misspelled in the title.
So basically the Xbone may have a small chance to lead in US in November while the PS4 will crush it in Europe.
£300 is $480. So its no that cheap in comparison to the USA. Americans pay less because $ are worth fuck all nowadays.
£300 is fair though, since it includes VAT. And here in Europe is around 20%.
GameStop UK always has great deals. I think this is because they don't have the same marketshare as they do in the US.
I'm not sure people understand how much a £ is worth in comparison to a $. That's still $480.
And 399 in USA is without sales tax added. So the difference is not as much as it seems. But yeah, USA is pretty much the cheapest market, which means all the other markets are subsidising that loss leader.
25 $ cheaper big whoop
