great news for all console manufacturers.
Once again this community showing how biased they are. HURR anything positive said about the Xbox must be met with backlash or telling the writers they don't know what they're talking about!
Yes kids. Positive things can happen with Microsoft and Xbox. Now stop being buttfrustrated.
Shipped..
I´m not sure if this is a good number, considering the size of the chinese market
How many people in China even know what consoles are?
It's not sold, it's shipped. Don't post news in chinese if you can't understand it.
Really good for MS. Since Phill started to lead the Xbox division only good things are coming. Let's just hope that the dictatory government of china don't get in the way, and let the gamers out there have some fun at least, after all was 14 years without videogames!!
China have not going 14 years without video games. xD
They just spent 14 years importing consoles/handhelds, pirating, playing Chinese-only machines, and playing a lot of PC and mobile games.
Where will China sales appear in the charts? We currently have North America, Europe and Japan. Just interested to see where this will show up.
Great! Now that Japan has forgotten about consoles, manufaturers may have found a brand new market in China.
And no game sales, why you ask? Its because every one is now been pirated to play pirate games. Probably able to import these chipped xbones
With the Japanese home console market continuing to decline, China could overtake Japan within the next decade in console sales assuming all of the big 3 release consoles there at some point.
Who needs japan when you have China for high sale numbers. China is the biggest market in Asia. I wonder how much the ps4 will sell there.
China historically greatly prefers PlayStation to Xbox, so the PS4 should do very well there.
That said, Japan still feels more important to me for now... Because winning Japan means gaining control over Japan's absolutely enormous wealth of gaming talent and companies. Simply put, Japan make a lot of games, including a lot of great games. Right now, the Chinese development scene has a lot of growing to do and is very PC and mobile oriented.
That's ALL?? Damn, that's kinda pathetic.
Hmmm... that's more than it's sold nationwide. I'd laugh if it's more successful in China than the US.
once Nintendo or Sony release any console in china it'll make a huge dent into Microsoft's 1 million prediction, i guess Nintendo and Sony are just watching to see what happens and if releasing their own consoles their would it make business sense given the majority of the Chinese population is in poverty!
