WiiU vs. XB1 will be an interesting fight. I see WiiU closing the gap a bit for July/August, then XB1 will widen it with Destiny, then Smash Bros and typically Nintendo favoring holidays will close it for Nintendo.

I wonder how much Wii U will be up YOY after NPD. Hopefully it isn't too overtracked!

Michael-5 (on 18 July 2014)

It's undertracked if anything. VGC's estimate on Mario Kart sales for USA are 40,000 (5%) too low according to NDP, so maybe Wii sales in USA are 5% stronger too?

If number of VGChartz is really, next week XOne passed PS3, and Wii U will passed by september/october, maximum November.

Michael-5 (on 18 July 2014)

WiiU is selling on par with XB1, and might sell better next week. How exactly will XB1 pass WiiU when WiiU is selling better?
