Lots of doubters said GT5 wouldn't hit 10 million. It's still going strong.

I'm really surprised GT5 sold 10 million units (and still counting) on the PS3. Man this franchise has legs! Hope GT6 sells well too, PS4 is coming, and I don't see it breaking 10 million, but I was wrong about GT5 so...

You shouldn't be surprised. Many told that it would! What IS surprirsing is just how much over 10 million it is, making 11 million a certainty before 2014. XD

Gran Turismo is a highly successful franchise exclusive to Sony. Gran Turismo thoroughly deserves its 70 million sales success. 100 million sales should be achieved in 5 years time.

10M was always within reach for GT5, now they announced GT6 for PS3, maybe this time, time is not on it's side to repeat that, but who knows, I think 7M for GT6 is still within reach
