BioWare San Francisco Closes Its Doors - News
by William D'Angelo , posted on 05 March 2013 / 3,091 ViewsElectronic Arts has told GamesIndustry International that BioWare San Francisco has closed its doors.It is part of the smaller studios that were closed a couple a weeks ago, along with EA Montreal and EA Los Angeles.
Between 25 and 30 employees have been laid off according to a source speaking with Games Radar. The studio was focused on developing social and mobile games of Electronic Arts franchises. It developed several titles including Dragon Age: Journeys and Mirror's Edge 2D.

No it is just a market correction. Most big publishers over produced, and thus over saturated just about every market available to them. In other words they were making a lot of crap, and they found out that there isn't a lot of money to be made in crap. In fact making crap loses them money.
Does this mean the scourge of EA might being going away forever?
Both this article and Wikipedia make it sound like EA Montréal has closed down, but I see no real evidence of this. Has an entire studio closed or is it just the usual business of layoffs?
