After hearing so many good things and good ratings I really wanted to try this game out especially as I had never played any Metal Gear solid before (although I hear they're all outstanding).

Everything new I saw about the game simply blew me away. First of all, the graphics which are unmatched by any games on all three of the consoles (I own all three). Secondly, the story. Now although it is complicated, of course I had trouble as I was new to it, it still gripped me because the characters and their storyies are amazing and there is quite a bit of emotion as well as humour.

The game is perfectly balanced with everything. There's stealth, shooting, weapon customization, lots of maneuvers and the gameplay is simply outstanding. There wasn't a single moment I didn't enjoy.

Hideo Kojima has really made a masterpiece here. It has everything a perfect game should have. This includes: lengh, story, gameplay and graphics. Some people who dislike this game claim there are too many cut scenes and not enough gameplay, which is unusual since this game has a lot more gameplay time than the average game even with one playthrough (although the cut scenes are amazing anyway). But as a game which should be completed a few times at least due to many unlockables and secrets, this game is a must have for any PS3 owner.
