Decent JRPG with a fun new battle system, but at the cost of anything story related.

Pros:

- Great battle system

- Leanne + Vashyron are great characters

- Humor, and this game has alot of it

- Difficulty, especially neverland

- Lots of Side quests

- Slightly decent OST

- Good voice acting - Nolan North did a splendid job as always.

Cons:

- Non-Existant story, and the story we do get makes 0 sense.

- Final boss was a pathetic and easy loser

- Pater - this character was completely un-necessary and he pissed me off

- Side-quests could get repetitive as you mainly do the same thing over and over

- The 500 battle trophy that took me 20 hours! ; ;

- The graphics are below-average. But in battles they are average.

- Chapter 13 mini-game is by far the worst ever created in a video game

This game is decent. I think it is a semi-cross breed between Valkyria Chronicles and Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria. If you are a fan of new gameplay then I would really suggest you check this out. But if you are a fan of presentation and story on the whole. Then I suggest you go pick up Final Fantasy XIII, Star Ocean 4 or Valkyria Chronicles instead.

However, scenery matters and it's boring looking enemies and environments so it gets stale. Because they don't really add things. Also I liked dressing up my characters. Message \| Report
