When you enter the keep at the beginning of the game, have Hadvar cut the bindings on your hands. Grab the sword and you can keep hitting Hadvar with it while he's standing by the door to level the One-Handed skill (don't hit him when he's knocked down on the ground). You can also level up the Sneak skill by sneaking up on Hadvar while doing this. A little later on, you should get a two-handed sword, and when you get the bow and arrow from Hadvar, you can hit him with the sword to level up the Two-Handed skill. Make sure you don't sneak while doing this, because Hadvar will continue on. You can also level up the Destruction skill by burning Hadvar at this opportunity. NOTE - This might not work on any future versions of the game.
