Throughout the open, massive, you'll be able to find some followers to help you on your quest. FAENDAL ======= Faendal can be found in Riverwood, near the Wood Mill. Complete the quest he gives you, but make sure you do it in Faendal's favor, and he will join you. Faendal is an archer, and can train your character in archery, in return for gold. You can only do this five times, but the catch is that if he's your follower, then you can go into his inventory and take the gold back. Make sure you don't do anything illegal around him, as he will turn against you and side with the guards. GOLDIR ====== You can find this follower in Hillgrund's Tomb and if you help him defeat Vals Veran (a warlock), you can recruit him outside of the tomb. He is a warrior that specializes in two-handed weapons and wears heavy armor. JENASSA ======== Jenassa can be found in Whiterun, inside the Drunken Huntsman. She is nothing but a mercenary and requires a 500 gold in order to hire her. Once you dismiss her, she'll return to where she first was and you will have to rehire her for 500 gold again. She's a ranger, with her specialty being in archery. LYDIA ===== She can be found outside of Dragonsreach and becomes available as you do the main quests. Finish the quests for Jarl Balgruuf and you'll be promoted to Thane, chosen as the Dragonborn and given a persona assistant. She excels in sneaking, as she's a thief. SVEN ==== Sven is found in Riverwood, and is inside in the Giant Sleeping Inn. To get him as a follower, you must complete Faendal's quest in Sven's favor. UTHGERD THE UNBROKEN ====================== Find this person in Whiterun, in the Bannered Mare Tavern. Talk to her and agree to fight her with no weapons and if you defeat her unarmed, then she will become your follower. She is a hand-to-hand specialist and she also owns a house in Whiterun; find the key in her inventory.
