I've seen a lot of flak for this game. The characters can get a little tiring in places, but everything else about the game is great. The over-arching story is interesting, the battle system is much improved, the platforming sections are great etc. Definitely worth picking up if you can find it.

Great reinvention of the series. The only thing I missed was switching characters and using tools unique to them.

The battle system definitely got a much needed upgrade.
