VIP Rewards
To get the VIP Rewards, you need to have played previous versions of Need for Speed games, and/or have downloaded the demo for The Run. The games that give a bonus are Hot Pursuit, World and Shift 2 Unleashed. To unlock these, make sure your EA account is the same across all of the games, then go to EXTRAS from the main menu of The Run and select VERIFY NEED FOR SPEED VIP STATUS.

Correction, great sales for a mediocre game.

I'm almost done with the campaign, don't think I'll ever it touch it again after that.

Amazingly bad sales ! I thought that the Needs were very popular ! WFT ? Very bad reviews ? I just bought it 2 weeks afetr launch and the game was sold new at 40€ instead of 60€ : I've never seen a so quick drop in price !
