America - Front
America - Back
First, buy a starter car (Toyota Vitz recommended.)Do the B license, access the Vitz Race,
get gold in that and get around 60K and by a 2nd car (the best choice is the 3000GT or
Skyline R34.)Than get the IB lisence, enter the European Champoinship, win and hopefully win the Gillete Vertigo and sell it. Buy a Dodge Viper GTS, get your S lisence and enter the `Like The Wind` event. The best car you will be up against is a Toyota GT1, but widen
your gears. Win and you will get a 787B, the best non F1 car in the game!!

@Mr Puggsly - the game wasn't widely bundled, you have to remember at the time, there wasn't any racing games on any other platform that delivered a scale of visuals and content that GT3 did. Coupled with the fact that it was one of the earliest PS2 games to go Greatest Hits/Platinum, it was a no-brainer for the best selling PS2 game until San Andreas, notice it's also the only GT game where the US has the biggest sales numbers by a heavy margin. I do agree that Halo has a bigger core market, just GT in general is more of a something for everyone IP. Message | Report |
