On the first battle with the Prototype Satellite, shoot the portion of it that has the laser attached. When you shoot the center repeatedly, an extra 500+ points appears with each shot. For example, if you shoot it one, two, or three times, it gives you 100+500, 100+1000, 100+2000, etc. It helps if you aim for the target once you blow the rocket launcher off.

I used to play this game in the arcade ALL THE TIME

freaking loved it, I could pass it in one try, shoot the gun like a freaking machine gun
