The game is set in a near future, thirty years after the events of Killzone 3.
The world is a very different place; two rival factions known as the Helghast and the Vektans live side by side in a futuristic city, divided by a vast wall.
From responding to bold attacks, to quiet infiltrations or all out combat, you will be required to adapt and think on your feet as you have to face a variety of escalating events that could destroy your home world.
A Truly Cooperative Online Shooter Experience
Eschewing genre conventions of broadly accessible player classes, Killzone Shadow Fall Intercept — maintaining the hardcore essence of the main game it’s built upon — embraces cooperative gameplay in the truest sense of the word. Combat Roles are highly specialized and highly interdependent; those who fail to collaborate will find the greatest level of difficulty.
Four Combat Roles With Extremely Varied Abilities
Killzone Shadow Fall Intercept’s cooperative philosophy is grounded in four different “Combat Roles.” The Marksman is the master of medium-to-long distance warfare. The Assault role is a close-combat terror. The Medic and Tactician fare worse in constant battle; rather, the former excels in reviving and resupplying comrades, while the latter is a master of boosting team defenses via turrets and Nano Shields.

Just completed this game. Now this is a game that oozes with potential but is somehow an overall mediocre game. I like that some levels have exploration and sometimes allow for different play styles. Its refreshing compared to some linear gallery shooters. But after about four levels, the games gets bad. Lots of trial and error along with repetitive objectives. There are also numerous areas with waves of enemies just to pad out the length. People mock CoD games for being short, but this is an why short games aren't inherently bad. This game goes from from being genuinely enjoyable for a few levels to a slog. I now understand the negative reception this game received. It gave me a an appreciation for PS3 Killzone games, those now seem great in comparison. Message | Report |
