The young Saquin warrior-brave, while attempting to make a desperate escape with the remaining survivors of his tribe to relatively safe Mexico, is ambushed by the bloodthirsty Captain Tobias Bruckner. In the ensuing battle, Tal'Set is badly wounded and bleeding to death from a bullet to his liver.
