Disgaea came out yesterday, day one release for me. I'm loving it so far. I can care less that the graphics are nothing life changing. NIS is a very small company and dont have the funds to make 3d games. More power to them, hopefully they can get more success in the future. Message | Report |

Aye, fantastic was a little bit enthusiastic. I was really happy with the sales then and I still am. People always seem to think that a game have to sell well in Japan only because it is very colourful and have a animestyle but in the end Disgaea isn't less niche there than COD is and I wasn't so sure if the typical Disgaea I+II owner is also a typical PS3 owner. Considering the user base of the PS3 it's doing fantastic. It's a hardcoregame and the sales data shows that nearly all hardcore gamer seems to bought a PS3 already in Japan. Just compare it with Disgaea1/Disgaea 2 sales data. Message | Report |

Why are people rating it? Because every disgaea game is exactly the same. Great Story+Very annoying pointless grinding. As for a budget? Next to nothing. It's the same NIS engine and art style they've been using forever. They've likely reused a lot of the graphics. In otherwords this game should be profitable. Message | Report |
