@Procrastinato - Well Sony did see the quality of the game and its pretty average. There was little chance something like this could be very successful.

Sony closed Zipper before this game even had the chance to post numbers -- obviously it had nothing to do with this game, and everything to do with previous games, and the change in leadership at Sony at the time.

On top of that, what's with you recommending against this game, when it was voted best shooter on the Vita by most of the major online game sites last year? Clearly the majority thinks it fits the portable shooter bill better than the other shooters on the Vita,including Uncharted.

given that you are going to want this sort of game to have a lot of players and a big community to play it with then this game isn't going to be for you, given the slating its gotten from reviewers and studios closure you would just be relying on sony to host the servers for this and with such low sales they might not see it as a reason to do so, given they've just shut down a few of the older socum games completely.

best bet if you liked uncharted atm and want more of that sort of game is to pick up gravity rush I'd say mate, really meant to be a good platformer with some new ideas in it.

I want to know if Unit 13 is worth it or not because I got a PSVita at luanch with Uncharted Goldern abyss. The uncharted games on PS3 got reviews of 8.7 to 9.5 but Uncharted Goldern abyss got a 7.0 to 7.5 which is not a good review even tho I like the uncharted franchise on PS3 I did not like it as much on PSVita. My point is that Unit 13 got 7.5 to 8.5. Whoever has unit 13 and uncharted which is more fun and why. I am not sure about unit 13 because zipper interactive started to make all there games weared after Socom 2 and I am not sure since it got an average review. Sorry for such a long comment and that it is not related to sales but I don't know if it is good to get. :I

hate to pop your bubbles here talking about how this game has sold 12 million copies digitally or w/e but you are aware that after this game came out it's sales led sony to close the studio it came from right? you know zipper interactive the people who got the ps2 online started off with the socom series are now gone with this games sales as a helping hand to it. just saying, it didn't do great.

This, and all Vita games are very likely WAY off, because their sales are largely, maybe even a majority, digital.

As was stated below, there are well over 100K players on the leaderboards already, and I sincerely doubt these are due to used sales. More likely, there are over 50K downloaded copies of this game -- and this game didn't even show up on the recent PSN top 10 downloads for Vita list (in the 3/27 Pulse) -- suggesting that a large number of Vita games have a huge number of downloads not counted in VGC numbers.

Bad start. I dont think this game will have good legs but only time will tell. I am not wondering about these sales since i dont see anything special about that game.

cleric20, MGS on Nin platform is like a fish out of water.

I didn't expect this game to do any noticeably good numbers, so then - not impressed. But it will get its fans, I'm sure. There is no big choice for Vita owners right now, but they obviously prefer Uncharted :)

In the UK Unit 13 on VITA beat the 3DS Metal Gear Solid 3D - both launched same week, only Unit 13 made the top 40 sales chart (at #15)!!
