for the people saying that they shipped 600k copies of UMvC3 so where are they.... look at the fact that this game has sold around 100k on the 360 and close to 200k on the Vita so over there is not 500k copies on shelves but closer to 200k or so across all 3 platforms.

I'm sorry but this is undertracked as hell, Capcom already confirmed they are selling this at a steady phase and they shipped 600K. They can't be 500K left in stores.

This game did not sell 600,000 copies. Capcom is completely fluffing numbers. There aren't even close to that many people on the leader boards for both versions combined (includes rentals and piracy!!!) and it is an a ONLINE focused game with bare minimum single player.

DLC is not the point (although Capcom could have released the first game later with more characters. The point is Niitsuma flat out lied about why certain features were left out of the first edition.

I am EXTREMELY happy that UMvC3 flopped because of all of Niitsuma's crazy excuses (the Japan tsunami, Nemesis couldn't be in the original because the game would get an M rating, Strider wasn't originally included because of licensing issues, etc.). Now maybe Capcom will think twice about releasing another version of SF x Tekken.
