Actually find this one of the lesser 2D Mario's. Okay, it's legacy is undebatable, but I found Yoshi's Island to be way superior in every way. Super Mario Bros. 1 and 3 are also better. Even New Super Mario Bros. has given me more fun. But I'm more a 3D Mario guy anyway. Message | Report |

best mario game ever. I remember how hard the secret levels were, that you got to threw the bush in the middle of star world. All that work just to see the game change seasons and koopas with mario masks. Id totaly do it again. Message | Report |

This game currently has an 8.64 rating, which is a joke! It is one of the greatest games ever created and deserves somewhere between a 9 and 10. Anyone who is voting this game less than 9 really has no clue whatsoever as to what makes a great game, and if they only played it recently then they really need to take into account how long ago it was actually made. You can't mark it down because it only used 2D graphics for example, I mean even though it is 2D it still looks great. I hate when a game as great as this is not scored accordingly. In my opinion this is a 9.8 game. It's not perfect but it's damn near close... Message | Report |
