The only reason these sales numbers are low is because of the PSN shutdown.3 games have suffered sales do to the PSN shutdown.Motorstorm apocalypse,Socom 4 both released at or before the shutdown.Resistance 3 couldnt get the tester's online those 2 months.All 3 games ROCK! Yeah i think it was a very wrong timing to release a FPS other than Battlefield and CoD this season. Sony should have shown more at e3 too, cause they barely showed any cool stuff (while the game itself is pretty amazing) Bad marketing + a very wrong timing to release the game, since most people are saving their money for FPS like Battlefield 3 and Mw3. 1.5 million LT is guaranteed for this. Good word of mouth, holiday season and budget editions will make that happen  Im betting that it will do somewhere between 1.5-2 million LT, which will probably be enough to make a profit. I have no idea why wasnt this advertised more heavily, maybe because Sony lost its trust in the franhise after the dissapointing performance of the second game. I think this game will have next to no legs just to many big named games coming out in the next few months games like Rage,BF3 and MW. I have both Resistance 3 and Dead Island. I got pretty disapointed with dead island, that game was more hype than actual quality, even thouhg it's pretty fun. For those who were caliing this another generic First person shooter, hahahah you were SO wrong :) Don't judge a game by looking at some trailers or gameplay. I have played a lot of FPS in the past years, but this game has without a doubt one of the most impressive thrilling, campaigns and stories ever in a FPS. And i didn't even mention it's fun multiplayer. This is more than just shooting, taking cover and watching cutscenes. This actually has a deeper compelling epic story, with suprising moments. Till this day, at least for the campaign, no other FPS matches with Resistance 3. Message | Report |

Insomniac didn't dropped the series they said that story must come to an end, speaking of me i really enjoyed resistance 3 it is my 3rd best game and it is said that the sales didn't pass 3 million Message | Report |

If people on PSN petitioned Sony to have Naughty Dog, guerilla games, or sucker punch take over Resistance franchise or Socom and Mag franchises it would get done.All these games are fantastic they just need a fresh take from a new developer.
