Japanese Persona numbers appear to be undertracked. Atlus have released the official figures, and the game has sold (not shipped) 160,000 in Japan (ending July 31, 2009).

I love all the changes they did to this game. I sold my PS1 copy on eBay long ago for some good change, and it is totally justified buying this for PSP. So many improvements! The game is more fluid, faster, and a better translation.

Some people will still be dissapointed that It's not of Persona 3/4 calibur but the game at It's core is still quite old.

Why do you guys think a remake of the first Persona game, which is on PS1, would come to PS2?
Just get the PS1 version if you want it. It does cost almost the same as PSP+Persona PSP price though.

Enjoy watching Atlus sink in losses then. The sales SMT games rake in will not cover the costs of developing an HD game - 360 OR PS3. Atlus is not that big or liberal with their money, you know?

Soon, Atlus will be releasing a test project to see if the HD platforms are even viable for their games... I'm willing to bet you - it's their first, and it will be their last.

Wii/PS2 is the only way - and just so that you don't call me some sorta fanboy, I'm a PS3 owner.

Xen, that might be the dumbest thing I've ever read on here. Yeah, better graphics, processing, physics etc will certainly make these games worse. Better yet, I wish all Atlas games were released only on the 2600 because that's the only true way to play games. Whatever. Bring them to PS360 please. Skip the wii.

Hopefully the HD consoles won't get an SMT. Hopefully they don't get anything Atlus, really. I like my Atlus jsut the way it is, and going HD won't help anyone.
