Maybe it wouldn't have changed much, and we don't know Others numbers anyway, but I think publishers for game like this should really make an effort to get them out in NA and Others at the same time. They are anyway not getting any advertising, but at least this weay they wil be able to capitalize on the hype at the same time. By the time a game arrives to Others all the hype has already died... I don't know how long is the game and how much storage it takes on an dvd but for me it's looks like a terrific Wiiware title. Especially after playing lost wind 1 and 2. I'll buy it when i can fin it for 20$can. Message | Report |

@Superchunk Lucky you as it's back up to $36 at amazon. With limited supply ppl would be wise to pick it up before it's gone. I heard shipment was 100k in the Americas and I doubt they would print more looking at the software situation the Wii is in at the moment! Message | Report |

The numbers in Europe will be very close to zero, as the game has been released in UK only: no official release in continental Europe, the game hasn't even been translated. It's still on my wishlist anyway, but i'm afraid i'll have to find an import version... and do the translation for my kids when/if they play it. Message | Report |

According to a report I saw a decently developed Wii game like WarioLand shake it!!! and Punch Out and Madworld only cost $3-5M to make so a game only needs to sell 150K lifetime to break even at a $30 price as stores take $10 in profit!!! Message | Report |

Great 1st week sales already!!! I'm not too worried as most ppl are not even aware this game is out yet. It also sold around what Murmasa, deBlob and BloomBlox sold in it's 1st week. It should reach 80-100k total before a price cut and that's when sales are gonna spike up!!! Message | Report |

@cliffhanger That's the problem with all Wii and DS games. Unless they're made by Nintendo themselves or some major name like EA, stores don't stock them. You have to actually go and pre-order them for a store like GameStop to actually bother to ship a few copies. Message | Report |

I am looking forward to this game. Here's hoping that more developers release games like Blob and Muramasa. I would really like it if the Wii can develop a resurgence of classic 2D games with great art and sound direction. Metroid: Other M will hopefull help as well. Message | Report |
