@scapegoat, no I think it has more to do with the demographics of PS3 owners. I think that especially at the time this came out we tended to be a bit older (ie grew up during the Master System/Genesis era). I think early on PS3 owners had a lot in common with how we Genesis owners felt back in the day. I think 360 hits a slightly more mainstream audience who couldn't care less about old games. Ok, i will buy a Xbox and PAY live and buy Sonic 2 and Sonic 3. Missing Sonic 1, Sonic Knuckles e all others greats games like Streets Of Rage trilogy, Golden Axe trilogy and etc only because you want... Man, this classics games deserve to have on a Blu-Ray disc, because all this games is a classics greats games that deserve respect. Message | Report |

@xen Probably because almost all the games in the collection have been available on x-box for a long time and at fairly good prices. If all you want is the Sonic games you save yourself twenty dollars just downloading them on Live and the xbox live arcade version of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and 3 include online multiplayer. I never even knew there was a 3D sonic on genesis... it's not bad. Some games have aged terribly, some are a blast. One thing I never noticed was how similar lots of games are in character design, animations and such. Good value though. Message | Report |

I think I got this, but mine's called the Sega Mega Drive Ultimate Collection, not the sonic collection. 35 euro seemed like a good price for some classics I used to love. Such as Altered Beast and Golden Axe :D Message | Report |

Just saw this in my local store for $29.99 and I looked at the back and it said "40 games". I was like DAM that's a steal. Had to look online for reviews if this is good before I get it.
