Summer Sports: Paradise Island (Others sales) (Wii) > Opinions (20)

Wow, could they have made a more generic name if they tried?

I compared the shots from IGN on Summer Sports: Paradise Island and Sports Party. They are EXACTLY the same game.

Destineer has no publishing presence outside America either so it lends even more evidence to that fact.

Also; the date release is in the wrong region for this title.

@zucas, look at the mini games of each version They are the exact same mini games & the same developer. The only difference is the publisher, now u tell me if it's the same game or not ;)

Arsenal- I don't think that's correct. Although Montana's reasoning is absolutely wrong as you said cause the 2 games do have the same developer, they don't appear to be the same game.

I really have no confirmation because Summer sports is unreleased in every place but America while Sports Party is unreleased in every place but Europe and soon Australia. So its possible they are related, there is no definite confirmation on that. Otherwise I go off IGN which says they are 2 separate games.

0 owners for this game? Come on someone on this site must own the game. It's okay to own up. I know there is a Ubisoft boycott but that's no reason to be ashamed (or afraid) to admit ownership of the game.

If u check ubi's website: http://www.ubi.com/UK/Games/Info.aspx?pId=6773

u can see that destineer is the developer of this game and that it is in fact the same game as Summer Sports: Paradise Island

So Ubisoft was pretty much like:

Wii Sports: HIT
Deca Sports: HIT

Mario Party: HIT
Game Party: HIT

Hmm.... Sports... Party!... Yaaaah!

If the game had a "Z," would it be "Sportz Party, or "Sports Partyz?"

Faxanadu posted 01/08/2008, 05:29
what, no "z" in the title? Ubisoft has lost it.

Arsenal, the game you're speaking of also has a different developer. They're clearly different games.

This game is actually the same as Summer Sports: Paradise Island. It is called that in America & Sports Party in Europe. It also has different publishers in both regions, but it is the same game. Can someone pls update & combine the sales, thanks.

They are publishing Soul Calibur 4, Far Cry 2, Tom Clancy's End War, new Prince of Persia, etc..

And I love the Rayman Raving Rabbids series, some of the most fun Wii games when you've got some mates round.

Ok, so they do bring out some crap but if people are going to buy it can you blame them? They're a business!

Ubisoft kicks ass and sells tons of games. Fanboys won't stop them, only make them stronger.

No, but why do I only see these hate comments on Ubisoft games, even if they're not shovelware? Don't you really notice how many companies are taking a crap on the Wii almost daily? Be a little more productive!
