A very true Japanesse rpg with great charecters, graphics, story, and Japanesse voice overs!!!!

where to start??!!! This is the game true rpg fans have waitted for since the 1st next gen. consoles rolled off the assembly line soooo long ago.

I fell bad for the XBOX 360 owners of Star Ocean: The Last Hope. I really do. They are missing the true experiance of a rpg made in, and played by the rabid rpg players of Japan.

Alone, the Japanesse true voice over is amazing!! Japanesse language is very tricky to translate into English. Hence a person playing with english voice overs cant fully understand whats going on in a conversation between lets say Edge and the Captain. Since tone in Japanesse means everything, the same word said in two differeant tones can mean two differant things! So with Japanesse voice fitting in the way the game makers intended it to, it just seems so natural when Edge simply grunts and the same grunt means diffrent things depending on the situation. Just amazing. Hard to put into words about just how awesome the Japanesse voice acting means to this game.

The graphics are just amazing. Colors are well matched and easy on the eyes.

As for the characters, I find myself really caring for Edge and Reimi. Along with the friends they meet along the way, I think you too will be cheering for your entire team the whole time.

Battles can be fun and a bit tricky but never maddening. The backslash trick is aweome! I can do that all day if the monsters let me..

Im at work and gotta run. Ill make a continue later on.

but for the record, this game in terms of me wanting to play it, is really awesome!  Im glad this game came along and will enjoy it to the very end!

I guess that's what a year's worth of exclusivity and a pretty rubbish reception will do to the PS3 sales. Didn't get close to Vesperia on PS3 vs. 360!

Wow, I thought the Japan sales would be higher, they barely pass the 360 Japan sales O.o

Playing this game, really like the combat. The story is OK, some of the locations are well detailed whereas some are not, especially one of them is really bad it hurts your head.

Good game though, no doubt, good combat variety among different characters which keeps things somewhat fresh.
