Nice and smooth, lovable oldies and fresh new items.

Once again it's time for the latest installment with Mario Mario and Luigi Mario. This is a fresh take on an old game   unfortunately this game is a filler until we can see more on Super Mario Galaxy 2. Even though the game is old it still has a certain degree of freshness. The worlds are a little stale considering that world one is still the same as in the first mario from 1985 and even level pattern is some what stale too. However, beyond that there isn't much else to see wrong with the game. Since the introduction of the star coins in New Super Mario Brothers for the Nintendo DS we see a return of the star coins. This time though they are used for something different the the mushroom houses. Some of the new power-ups are nice to see even if you can't tell what thrie for straight away. Like the penguin suit it allows you to not slide as much on the ice and throw snow balls. It also allows you to slide on your belly. Mario uses yoshi on only certain levels and you can't take him to the next level with you whitch can put a damper on gameplay to a degree for players that enjoy yoshi. So witha fresh look at and old game letssay it together. HERE WE GO!

They talked to Super Mario creator who said back when this was created they "rolled back" the complexity of Mario Games to allow more people to understand and pick them up instantly/play them. Instead they created a side-scrolling masterpiece that sold so far 28 million copies. Of course that was going to happen.

Nintendo says 29.51m as of september 30.

Where one game's overtracked, this one quite heavily undertracked. Remember, can't have digital sales.
