Asterix: Caesar's Challenge is a board game featuring a mini-games in each space in the board. The game can be played by 6 players simultaneously, each one picking from also six well-known character from the Asterix universe, from Asterix to Impedimenta.
There's a single board and the players take turns rolling the dice. Each (single-player) mini-game provides challenges based on ability or knowledge, not only of the Asterix universe but also of history. One mini-game features Dogmatix trying to reach a pile of bones inside a pyramid, while another one is a historical quiz.
Released for the PC and the CD-i as a collaboration of Philips and Infogrames, the game features beautiful cartoon animation, as expected, and great voicework.
