I finished the campaign for Uncharted 2 like about 2 weeks ago. And all i gotta say is......... WOW. It was amazing how the single player just had that immersion effect on you and just puts you right into the game. It seriously felt like i was in a summer blockbuster action movie. Thats how good the story was. Not to mention the voice acting was just amazing. Each actor did an excellent job voicing out their character and bringing them to life (especially Nolan North the voice actor for Drake). But yeah the story was just amazing and it really gets you into the game even more. Graphics are amazing. The environments look stellar and definately adds to the realism of the game. So yeah i really couldnt find anything wrong with the story or presentation of the game at all.

Gameplay is awesome. it still kept the similar gameplay from the first Uncharted and added even more to it. You can hang from ledges and shoot your enemys and also throw a grenede. The platforming are awesome but a little too simple at times but that was a minor issue. Cover system is still there and is great, but can get a little annoying when trying to hide from an enemy you can't see. But these minor issues don't take away from the gameplay at all. It is still a lot of fun to play. Especially fighting enemys with the hand to hand combat. They even added a few stealth elements to the game which is a lot of fun and even had me reminicent of playing Metal Gear Solid 4 a little bit lol. But yeah the gameplay is awesome.

Naughty Dog decided to add Multiplayer this time around which a lot of fans of the first Uncharted felt they should've added (myself included). Well Naughty Dog delivered and I gotta say....it payed off. The multiplayer is A LOT of fun. Tons of game types, Tons of FUN. 5 on 5 with your standard deathmatch, plunder which is their take on capture the flag, co op areana where you can face off in a type of horde mode like game facing off with tons of waves of enemies. The only gripes i have with the online is that sometimes it takes a while to find a game. And when you do it gets frustrating because people would start to leave in the middle of the game especially when they're on the losing team. Also having to unload a full clip into somebody in order to get a kill is kinda annoying. But again those are little minor issues and they do not take away from the experience and the multiplayer is a lot of fun. Mixing the platforming with the shooting and everything gives it a lot of originality and adds to the experience and adds to the longevity of the game. This is the best online game on the PS3 with the exception of Killzone 2.

Overall, Uncharted 2 is the best game i have played this gen so far with Metal Gear Soid 4 a really close second. Great story, fun campaign that is action packed, and has a ton of content that would have you coming back for more. The online is competetive and addicting and will have you playing for hours. There are only a few problems that i have with the game, but they are little and do not take away from the experience. If you have a PS3, I encourage you to go and pick up this game. It is EPIC. Four words come to mind when i think of this game...................GAME OF THE YEAR!
