A xbox live arcade game packed to the gills with challenge, content, and bitchin' music.

This level gave me alot of headaches.. And dying. Sure kept me hooked though.

There is a lot to do in bionic commando rearmed.
From the towering main campaign, to the challenge rooms in MP, this game is hardcore at it's finest.

Through the campaign you'll notice a couple things:
1. The music is awesome
2. This looks really good for an XBLA game
3. I have gotten really good at swinging around..

And this is all true. At first the game seemed really hard for me, but you'll eventually get into the swing of things (haha), and also you'll get new weapons along the way that make the game alot easier on you. Especially when you get to the bosses in the 8 or so levels. Use the right weapon.. and they're going down easy.

What was behind door #1 wasn't pleasant.

In the levels, there are also computer terminals that give you more information on the situation at hand, and if you hack them, you get secret information from the enemy, which can give you critical hints at what the bosses strengths and weaknesses are.

You'll be pretty good at the game mechanics by the middle of the campaign, but that doesn't stop the game from being difficult, especially by the ending levels. The xbox 360 D-pad doesn't help either. I know you can use the analogue stick also.. But that way didn't feel right to me. That's just not how you play bionic commando to me. The D-pad, as much as it sucks, is the much better option. I would just try to get used to it. It was a good thing the devs made your claw automatically shoot forward-up, as it would make the game unplayable. Another good design choice, which as makes the game more enjoyable over the original.

You could have warned me about the missile before swinging away, you asshole!

This all works very well, but the developers didn't stop at just making a good game, they also went ahead and added nice visuals and music that matches the atmosphere of it all in the right ways.
After you beat the campaign there are a couple things you can do such as: beating the game again on a harder mode, playing co-op/local multiplayer, trying to beat all of the challenge rooms (around 60, I think), and just gunning to get all of the achievements. And yes, they are hard as well.

All in all this game is a well rounded XBLA title with plenty to keep you occupied. Don't be afraid of the challenge though.

Best game on Xbox Live Arcade hands down. Best music on the whole system. If you don't own it, you don't own shit.

Wow, what is there to say about this remake? The graphics are sexy, the music is just insane, the humor is corny, and the difficulty level is top-notch (talking about Hard here). Hehe, they've even thrown in a code that will let you play as the original Rad Spencer in their new upcoming 3D Bionic Commando game! I hope it's going to be as good as this remake though.

Thank you GRIN!
