Nintendo Reveals Increased Switch 2 Price in UK - News

Nintendo earlier this year announced it would be increasing the price of the Nintendo Switch 2 worldwide starting with Japan on May 25 and the rest of the world on September 1.
A new price was given for Japan, the United States, Canada, and the parts of Europe that use the Euro.
In Japan the price of the region-locked model increased from 49,980 yen to 59,980 yen. In the US it will go up from $449.99 to $499.99, while in Canada it will increase from $629.99 to $679.99 and in Europe from €469.99 to €499.99.
Nintendo has now revealed the price of the Switch 2 in the UK will increase from £395.99 to £419.99.
"In light of changes in market conditions, and after considering the global business outlook, Nintendo will revise the manufacturer’s suggested retail prices (MSRP) of the Nintendo Switch 2 system and Nintendo Switch systems," said Nintendo when the price increase was first announced.
"We sincerely apologize for the impact these price revisions may have on our customers and other stakeholders, and we deeply appreciate your understanding."
