Seeing a chart like this... I don't understand the whole "NS2 is not doing well" narrative...
It doesn't even have its Zelda / Mario / AC lifelong system sellers yet and its far ahead of NS1

Almost 6 million gap for the NS2 after the Switch's first holliday is wild. There is a strong narrative that the Switch 2 is not a Wii U, but that it will be like a 3DS. But the numbers show that it is on track to easily surpass 100 million if there is no major problem. It may not surpass the original Switch due to the Covid boost, but it sure seems like a complete success.

I think a better comparison people might want to use is its more likely going to be similar to the SNES where its a massive success but doesn't reach the overall sales of the previous console that paved the way for it.

That seems more in line with reality

I think Nintendo should easily be able to clear 100 million of the Switch 2 if they don't knee cap themselves with stupid moves. All the doom and gloom has been absolutely ridiculous since the launch, they are still killing it sales wise and i don't really see that changing anytime soon. With all the price hikes of the other consoles and the prices we can expect from the next gen... They'll be fine :)
