Battlefield 6 and Black Ops 7 will make a boom on the PS5. After that, it will be GTA 6. I believe that the PS5 will still stay ahead of the PS4.
In the short term the price increase is not an issue at all. A 50 dollar increase won't dissuade buyers in the Oct-Dec holiday quarter. Sales might be down come the first quarter of next year but then GTA 6 will bump the next quarter and they have Wolverine in the fall. Add in the fact that Xbox is no longer competition hardware wise and the PS5 is good and stable for all 2026.
I think PS3 is not needed anymore in the chart.
i think they should add the PSVita, PSVR, and PSVR2 just to really make the chart complete
Don't forget the PS Pocket.
PS4 wins the war!
